If you’re considering getting into FPV (First Person View) flying, then you might want to give the Parrot Anafi FPV a crack.

FPV, in its purest form, is where you connect your smartphone to a set of goggles so that you’re only able to see what the drone’s camera is pointing at, without any other distractions.

It’s a whole different experience compared to not using goggles.

The Anafi FPV’s camera shoots 4k at 100 MBS with HDR, and its batteries support up to 25 minutes of flight time.

It’s a great drone for first-time flyers and is designed by some of the best drones manufacturers in the business: DJI.

The 720p camera does the job to a satisfactory level, and the drone can be programmed for Kids using Scratch, which turns it into more of an educational toy.

The Tello offers between 3-5 minutes of flight time and weighs approximately 3 ounces.

It’s a good drone for beginners.

Their follow-up to the original Inspire drone is the Inspire 2, which comes with 25 minutes of flight time and a sleek metal body.

The drone allows you to swap out lenses, which means you have complete control over the images you capture and the ability to shoot 5k video.

The Inspire 2 weighs approximately 3340g, has a max range of 7km, and includes advanced object avoidance technology.

The next drone by Parrot is the Anafi.

Its lightweight and compact design might make you think there’s not much to it.

However, this little guy packs a 4k UHD camera that shoots at 60 fps and turns 180-degrees vertically.

This means it’s able to take pictures directly above and directly below itself, which not many drones, if any, are capable of doing.

The Anafi comes with Follow Me, Orbit, Parabola, Boomerang, and Tornado modes, which each offer their benefits.

Unfortunately, the Parrot Anafi does not come with obstacle avoidance, so it’s probably not a good idea to use it if you’re a beginner.

You’ll get around 25 minutes of flight time from one charge, and a max range of 6km.

However, if you’re looking for the best image quality you can get from a drone, then it might be better to check out some of the other drones on the list, as the Poweregg does fall a little short in that department.

Another thing to consider is that you don’t have to register the Mavic Mini with the FAA because it’s so lightweight, which means one less thing you have to do before you can fly your drone.

Despite being around for a while, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro is still one of the best all-around premium drones you can buy.

It gets 31 minutes of flight time from one charge and can reach a max range of approximately 5 miles. Its 20MP 1″ sensor shoots RAW stills and 4k video at 30 fps.

You can also expect to find DJI’s intelligent shooting and flight modes included with the Mavic 2 Pro, as well as some of the best camera tech and flight capabilities on the market.

Also, its foldable design makes it portable and convenient to travel with.

But, if you’re looking for something smaller and even easier to carry, then it’s worth checking out the Mavic Mini.
