Here’s to another year of awesome blogs to follow! Every year, we publish a new list of the best blogs to be following in many different areas of self-development and entrepreneurship.
Since these articles were so popular with our readers, we’re making sure we consistently update them, so you can bookmark the list, and come back to it every time to need for info, motivation or advice.
This list consists of the top 40 blogs/bloggers for entrepreneurs to follow in 2019. Before you check out the list, don’t forget to take a look at our other ‘Top Blog’ lists:

Top 40 Blogs for Entrepreneurs in 2019
There are several blogs I’ve decided to exclude from the list, as they’re known as the obvious ‘top dogs’ of the entrepreneur blogs online.
It’s always good to give the lesser known blogs a mention when the info they’re sharing with you is just as useful and important.
The blogs I’ve excluded from the list include:
These are still great blogs to follow if you’re an entrepreneur as they deliver information and news on a very regular basis, however they won’t be included within the main list of top blogs for entrepreneurs.
This list is in no particular order, and gives you a breakdown of all the great entrepreneurship blogs to follow. As well as giving you a short on their founders and what the blog specializes in specifically.
Here are the top 40 blogs for entrepreneurs in 2017:
1. Smart Passive Income
Founded by Pat Flynn – Smart Passive Income is an awesome blog for entrepreneurs, marketers and bloggers. Pat considers himself the dummy of seeing what works and what doesn’t in entrepreneurship. Definitely check it out if you don’t follow it already.
2. Gary Vaynerchuk
Speaking of Gary Vaynerchuk, his own personal blog gives you a background on his entrepreneurial success and shares brilliant advice he’s learnt throughout his journey to success.
3. Guy Kawasaki
Guy Kawasaki is a successful evangelist, author and speaker. If you haven’t heard about him before then it’s definitely worth reading more about him. Take a look at his blog for a more personal touch on evangelism.
4. Entrepreneur on Fire
Founded by John Lee Dumas – Entrepreneur on Fire is a blog/podcast where John has interview tonnes of successful entrepreneurs such as the likes of Gary Vaynerchuk, Seth Godin, Tim Ferris, Brian Tracy and so on. If you’re into pod-casts this is a must.
5. Entrepreneurs Journey
Founded by Yaro Starak – Entrepreneurs Journey is all about teaching you the secrets and methods to be able to live the laptop lifestyle. This blog is great for anyone who’s building a blog or an online business and wants to learn how to market their websites.
6. The Entrepreneurs Library
Found by Wade Danielson – The Entrepreneurs Library is an excellent resource for fining out the best books to read for entrepreneurs. However, the blog also shares great business lessons and Wade also hosts regular podcasts to go with it.
7. Startup Savant
Founded by Ryan James – Startup Savant is run by a good friend of mine, and is blog giving out great entrepreneurial advice and tools, but one that also gives back to the community by donating to organizations.
8. Steve Blank
Steve Blank’s story is so detailed that I won’t go into it right now. You can read more about him and his life on the ‘About’ page of his blog. However, he offers books, guides, tools and videos for startups, and has plenty of experience. So it’s worth checking him out.
9. Social Triggers
Founded by Derek Halpern – Social Triggers is a hugely successful blog ranked 17,455 in the world. Derek shares great advice on building your business, marketing your product and gaining more customers.
10. 4 Hour Work Week
Founded by Tim Ferris – The New York Times best seller created 4 Hour Work Week in order to help you escape the boring 9-5 grind and live the life you’ve always wanted.
11. Jared Reitzin
Jared Reitzin is an entrepreneur and speaker who gives in depth advice on his personal blog to help resource-less entrepreneurs build their own business.
12. Women on Business
Founded by Susan Gunelius – Women on Business presents a great focus that not many sites aim for specifically, and that is female entrepreneurs. The site was founded in 2007 and since then has become a key resource for the female entrepreneurs of the world.
13. Seth Godin
Seth Godin is a best selling author and has written a total of 18 books. His blog has become so popular that you can find it in Google just by searching the keyword “Seth”. This blog definitely deserves to be regarded as one of the best blogs for entrepreneurs.
14. Mike Michalowicz
Mike Michalowicz is the author of Toilet Paper Entrepreneur. An excellent book about starting a business that’s been featured on various new websites such as ‘The New York Times’ and ‘Wall Street Journal’. Check out Mike’s personal blog for more great content of starting a business.
15. Copy Blogger
Founded by Brian Clark – Copy Blogger has been described as the Bible of content marketing. It was founded back in January 2006 and since then the team has grown and the business has grown into 8 figures in yearly revenue. Definitely a marketing blog to check out!
16. Think Entrepreneurship
Founded by Pete Sveen – Think Entrepreneurship is a great blog that incorporates motivational and blogging articles within the general categories of entrepreneurship. A perfect blog for entrepreneurs that are interested in all three areas.
17. Under 30 CEO
Founded by Matt Wilson – Under 30 CEO is an entrepreneurial blog that focuses on travelling as well as entrepreneurship, since himself and his co-founder Jared own their own travel company. Great advice for entrepreneurs who love to travel.
18. Suitcase Entrepreneur
Founded by Natalie Sisson – The Suitcase Entrepreneur is another excellent blog that incorporates travel within it, as Natalie did just that and built her online business to six figures whilst doing so. The advice she shares on her blog is incredibly useful for travelling entrepreneurs.
19. Venture Hacks
Founded by Nivi Babak and Naval Ravikant – Venture Hacks is a very simplistic blog that offers great advice for new startups.
20. Chris Ducker
Chris Ducker’s personal blog is another brilliant blog on growing your business, fortunate enough to be featured in Forbes, Inc, The Huffington Post and Business Insider. His site has just gone through a brilliant redesign, so check it out!
21. Next Shark
Founded by Benny Luo – Next Shark is an online magazine that aims to offer a fresh take on business and includes a great combination of personal growth and business advice.
22. Lifestyle Entrepreneur Blog
Founded by Jesse Krieger – Lifestyle Entrepreneur Blog shares “stories and strategies for entrepreneurial success”. Jesse is a best selling author shares great articles on success as an entrepreneur.
23. Peter Shallard
Peter Shallard likes to call himself ‘the shrink for entrepreneurs’. Instead of sharing techniques and methods on how to build your business, Peter digs deeper into the mindset of entrepreneurs. Helping you become stronger mentally in order to be a successful entrepreneur.
24. Blogtrepreneur
Founded by Matthew and Adam Toren – Blogtrepreneur was created as a resource for both bloggers and entrepreneurs; combining the two areas for incredibly relevant advice towards other blogtrepreneurs. It’s now become one of the top blogs for entrepreneurs.
25. Braid Creative
Founded by Tara Street and Kathleen Shannon – Braid Creative is a blog/coaching and consulting company that helps other entrepreneurs in developing their brand. They have various courses and coaching options available if you’re interested in working with them.
26. Frugal Entrepreneur
Founded by Adam Gottlieb – Frugal Entrepreneur offers various business documents for startups that are struggling to find them anywhere else, as well as hosting a blog to go right along side them with great advice.

Founded by Ben Lang – Epic Launch is a great blog for advice on entrepreneurship and online business.
28. On Startups
Founded by Dharmesh Shah – OnStartups has been one of the best blogs for entrepreneurs for a while now. Dharmesh is the founder of HubSpot and Pyramid Digital Solutions, so his content’s definitely worth a read!

Founded by Mark Suster – Both Sides of the Table offers advice on marketing, sales and startup lessons.
30. Small Business Trends
Founded by Anita Campbell – Small Business Trends has been operating since 2003 and now reaches more than 6 million readers annually. The fact that this blog has been going for so long and covers so many areas, makes it one of the best blogs for entrepreneurs.
31. All Business
Much like Small Business Trends, ‘All Business’ is another blog that has been running for quite a while and has grown into an incredibly large resource for entrepreneurs. It’s been featured in places like Forbes, The New York Times, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal.
32. Marco Arment
Marco Arment is a web and app developer, as well as writer and podcaster. He was the lead developer of Tumbler, and founded many other projects before selling them on.
33. Young Upstarts
Founded by Daniel Goh – Young Upstarts is a blog that focuses more on leadership and the younger generation, in changing the world through entrepreneurship.
34. Duct Tape Marketing
Founded by John Jantsch – Duct Tape Marketing has been regarded as one of the best marketing blogs for quite some time now. John offers several courses and also a podcast you can tune into.
35. Read Write Start
Founded by Richard MacManus – Read Write Start has been operating since 2003, giving out advice for entrepreneurs within the categories: mobile technology, social, the cloud and the web.
36. Brian Solis
Brian Solis is an award winning author and keynote speaker. Have a look at his website for marketing advice, technology articles and more.
37. A VC
Founded by Fred Wilson – A VC is a very basic style of blog, but has literally thousands of published articles that you can learn some great knowledge from.
38. Small Business Brief
Founded by Jennifer Laycock & Robert Clough – Small Business Brief has been running since 2004 and offers solid advice on business marketing, finance, operations and technology.
39. The Next Women
The Next Women is a great business magazine that again specifically targets female entrepreneurs just like ‘Women on business’. However much of the advice is applicable to entrepreneurs in general, not just females.
40. Chris Brogan
Chris Brogan is the CEO of Owner Media Group and New York Times bestselling author. Check out his blog for more information on him and what he does.
