Introduction

As of April 2024, Parker Schnabel’s net worth is approximately $8 Million.

Parker Schnabel is an American gold miner and reality television star who is best known for starring on the reality TV show ‘Gold Rush’ and its spinoff ‘Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail’.

‘Gold Rush’ debuted in 2010 and his participation in the TV show is notable for the episodes in which he attempted to help the miners at the Porcupine Creek.

Early Life

Parker Russell Schnabel was born on the 22nd of July, 1994, in Alaska.

Schnabel is the son of Roger and Nancy Schnabel. He started to get involved with mining when he was only 5 years old.

Parker grew up working for his grandfather and he started operating heavy machinery at an early age as well.

When he was in high school he gained stardom and played in the school’s basketball team.

Career

Parker Schnabel began mining when he was only 5 years old, at his grandfather’s Big Nugget Mine in Haines, Alaska.

His grandfather, John, made Parker the boss of the mine when he was 17, but he also wanted to branch out.

When he was 18, he moved to the Klondike and leased a piece of land from Tony Beets, a legendary Klondike gold miner.

His business sense and hard work ethic eventually gained him the attention of the Discovery Channel and Raw TV.

Like Marty Lagina, Parker was given the chance to do what he loved and show it to the world on television.

Mining For TV Gold

Although Parker Schnabel wasn’t a huge part of Gold Rush season one, he played a large part in season two, which covered his takeover of Big Nugget Mine.

While mining for the most expensive minerals in the world, Parker had an eventful season, though he only earned roughly $55k in gold.

The following season, he returned with large equipment and managed to mine 192 ounces, worth over a quarter of a million dollars.

In season four, Parker Schnabel started leasing land in the Klondike from Tony Beets, who acted as his mentor.

By the end of the season, Parker and his crew dug up 836 ounces of gold, a $1.4 million haul that broke the show’s record.

He did even better in season five, bringing in 2,538 ounces, which totaled just under $3 million, making it his biggest haul at the time.

Digging Up Profits

Although Park Schnabel had dug up enough gold to make the most expensive engagement rings in the world, he wasn’t done yet.

In season six of Gold Rush, Park hauled in $3.5 million worth of gold, which he topped in season 7 by finishing with over $5 million.

At this point, the sky was the limit for Schnabel, and in season 8 he topped his haul by mining 6,280 ounces of gold, worth $7.5 million.

In season nine he managed to do even better, exceeding his 7k goal with 7,427 ounces, worth almost $9 million in profits.

The following year, he finished 204 ounces short of his previous total, but ended up making $1 million more because he mined his own ground.

Coupled with the rising gold prices, Parker’s haul brought in roughly $10.8 million for his and his team’s hard work.

Not Slowing Down

While season 11 was impacted by 2020’s events, the next season Parker brought in 7504 ounces of gold and topped it the following year.

In season 13, Parker and his crew managed to bring in 8118 ounces of gold, totaling an estimated $14 million in profit.

Although season 14 hasn’t finished airing, it has already been shaping up in Parker’s favor, and he may top his record.

Even though he could move into one of the most expensive penthouses in the world and retire, Parker has no interest in leaving behind the family business.

Especially since it’s netted him millions and made him one of the most recognizable people on the Discovery Channel!

Favorite Quotes From Parker Schnabel

“At our mining site, we’ve automated all of that. You run big equipment and your object is to do manual labor the least amount possible, but in South America, and Guyana in particular, South America is all manual labor. Everything that happens is moved by hand, almost. Though there are some excavators.” – Parker Schnabel

“The toughest thing is that it’s very seasonal work and we basically have four months to make a year’s worth of money, not only is it difficult but it is also dangerous because everybody is working long hours, long days … from a safety standpoint, that’s risky.” – Parker Schnabel

“I don’t know, you just kind of get focused on working and most of the time it doesn’t bother you too much. If I need to let some steam off I have a dirt bike and I go for a ride. I love riding my bike.” – Parker Schnabel

“I’d say overall the first time I went out to Dawson was really enjoyable and getting to know everyone there. It’s just a wonderful mining community that’s made up of some of the best people in the world and I’m really glad to have become, or feel like I’m becoming a part of that.” – Parker Schnabel

Favorite Quotes from Dillon Francis

“Yes, but there’s a reasoning behind it. Whenever I would get in the studio with anyone that spoke English, anytime they would ask me for any advice, I would give them the most horrible advice on what to sing.” – Dillon Francis

“What were some of your earliest memories with Latin music, especially for someone like you who grew up in Los Angeles?
I definitely remember the Cadillacs from Training Day just blasting reggaeton. I feel like that was like the most cliché thing to happen in Los Angeles, just an amazing lowrider playing a Daddy Yankee song or something.” – Dillon Francis

“He got a bunch of one-shots, but he also got a bunch of verses from people. From that, it kind of just started turning into something else. There [were] no expectations. The whole record was just to go have fun again and have a great time making music.” – Dillon Francis

“Even before that, Wut Wut traces back to your 2011 Westside! EP, which features “Que Que,” one of your biggest moombahton hits and one of your earliest Spanish-language tracks. What’s the connection between Westside! and Wut Wut?” – Dillon Francis

“It was taking that and trying to put it into a project that actually is cohesive. If you listen to my last album, that is the most non-cohesive project ever. That’s where I was like, “I need to focus and make everything sound like they actually exist in one project.” That’s what I felt like I did with Wut Wut, where it was like honing in on everything that I’ve learned in the past 10 years of touring and making music and trying to make a cohesive album that has a great concept.” – Dillon Francis

3 Powerful Lessons from Dillon Francis

Now that you know all about Dillon Francis’ net worth and how he achieved success; let’s take a look at some of the lessons we can learn from him:

1. Life is Now

But this is it. Your life is right now, and it continues to be a series of right now. So, learn to love your life now, and you’ll have a fantastic life.

2. Go Against Fear

Most of the things we fear never happen. Or if they do occur, they are rarely as bad as we fear they will be. For most of us, fear is the worst thing that will happen to us. Reality isn’t as painful.

3. Relationships Rule

Put them first every single day, before work. Treat them like they are your everything—because they are.

Favorite Quotes from Shaun Weiss

“Token Jew? Hmm… felt more like the token fat kid. The schools I attended were predominantly Jewish, so for a couple years, there was a bar/bat mitzvah every weekend, sometimes two. It was fun watching them try to top each other. Kept waiting for Streisand to show up and bust out the Hava Nagila.” – Shaun Weiss

“I assume you mean Emilio, the real guy. Best advice: “If you’re going to hook up with the extras, get their parents to sign a release form.” Kick Conway’s ass? What kind of mensch are you, guy?” – Shaun Weiss

“We had three months of hockey camp. Skating didn’t come easy for me—I spent the first month on my ass. Never wanted to quit, but I did wish the movie was about the Oregon football team.” – Shaun Weiss”

“Believe it or not, right after I did `Heavyweights,’ I was so inspired that I went to a real, quote-unquote, fat camp. I was 185 pounds, and I slimmed down to 152. So I went to this audition for the BBC in late August, and they said, `He’s too thin.’ I had to put it back on.” – Shaun Weiss

“We decided to give the producers a little run for their money. I was having hot dogs for lunch, so we got the entire cast to play sick to freak everybody out. We were all complaining, saying `My stomach is killing me.’ Finally, we started throwing up we were faking it. The producers went crazy. They nearly had a heart attack.” – Shaun Weiss

“Of course it all touched a nerve for me. The movie is not about skinny or fat. The movie is about being yourself and accepting what you are.” – Shaun Weiss

Favorite Quotes from Kelsey Grammer

“My own take on it is that the government will never adequately represent every person in the country. It can’t. It’s not possible. It’s a multicultural, multifaceted society in which we live. The country, I think, thrives because it’s willing to embrace many ideas at the same time, but once a decision is made, you will be unpopular with many people. The business of our political leaders is to go ahead and make a decision and let the chips fall where they may. That’s a very hard thing to do.” – Kelsey Grammer

“A child is a reinvigorating experience. It almost does feel like immortality, but not in the way people think. It reminds us there are universal truths that are most simply seen through the mind of a young person.” – Kelsey Grammer

“Fame obviously has become a premium in everybody’s life. Everybody thinks they deserve it, everybody thinks they want it, and most people really don’t enjoy it once they get it.” – Kelsey Grammer

“I became an actor, and because I succeeded as an actor, I became famous. I was acting for quite a while before I got famous; television made me famous. I guess that it’s television that is responsible for everybody’s desire to be famous.” – Kelsey Grammer

“I’m an actor, and I’ve created a lasting and memorable character named Frasier, who is not me, but who most people think is. So when I have a chance to play something that’s different, I embrace it because it’s fun; also, in this case, he’s a memorable character.” – Kelsey Grammer
