Introduction
Bradley Cooper is an American professional actor and filmmaker with an estimated net worth of $100 Million.
Although most people know him from The Hangover Trilogy, many of his biggest paydays have come later in his career. Cooper’s films have grossed $13.05 billion worldwide, placing him among the top ten highest-grossing actors of all time.
This is primarily due to his voice-acting role as Rocket within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cooper has worked on six films voicing the character, earning an estimated $25-$30 million.
His single largest payday came from banking on himself, forfeiting his salary from A Star is Born, a movie he directed, produced, and co-wrote. The film is currently the eleventh highest-grossing of his career, but it earned him an estimated $40 million.
Quick Facts
- Only received $600,000 for the original The Hangover film
- Earned roughly $50 million from The Hangover trilogy
- Forfeited salary for A Star is Born to re-invest in production
- Earned an estimated $40 million from A Star is Born (10% backend)
- He was paid $5 million to voice Rocket in Avengers: Infinity War
- Potentially earned between $25-$30 million from Marvel
Earnings & Salary
| Year | Project | Salary |
|---|---|---|
| 2009 | Hangover | $600,000 |
| 2011 | Hangover II | $25,000,000 |
| 2013 | Hangover III | $25,000,000 |
| 2013 | American Hustle | $2,500,000 |
| 2018 | A Star is Born | $40,000,000 |
| 2018 | Avengers: Infinity War | $5,000,000 |
| Total Calculated Earnings: | $97,100,000 | |
The Hangover Trilogy Salaries
Cooper’s earliest recorded salaries originate from his breakthrough role as Phil in The Hangover trilogy. Although the first movie in the franchise had a $35 million production budget, the four prominent cast members were paid less than $1 million each. Cooper was reportedly paid the most, at $600,000, due to his higher star power than Helms, Galifianakis, and Bartha.
The film grossed $469 million at the box office despite Warner Bros’ doubts, which sparked two higher-paying sequels for the cast. When a new deal was negotiated for The Hangover Part II, all four prominent cast members received a $5 million salary plus 4% of the backend gross profits. The movie grossed $587 million worldwide against a budget of $80 million, earning each actor an estimated $20 million. Including their upfront salary, this became a $25 million payday for Cooper.
For the third movie in the trilogy, the actors were now asking for a $15 million upfront salary plus a backend percentage. While the exact percentage remains undisclosed, it more than likely remained close to 4%. However, The Hangover Part III struggled at the box office, bringing in just $362 million on a much higher budget of $103 million (presumably due to the inflated cast salaries). The cast would have earned roughly $25 million a piece for the third installment if our calculations are correct.
This would put Cooper’s earnings from the trilogy at $51 million. The exact number will likely be between $45 and $55 million.
A Star is Born Earnings
Cooper’s 2018 passion project, A Star is Born, involving Lady Gaga, was the single-highest payday of his career. In addition to starring in the film with Gaga, Cooper also co-wrote the script and directed and produced the movie. He forfeited his upfront salary to re-invest in the production budget. His share was roughly 10%, earning him $40 million on a film that grossed $435 million.
Marvel Salary
Cooper has voiced the character of Rocket in three Guardians of the Galaxy films, two Avengers films, and Thor: Love and Thunder. He earned roughly $5 million for Avengers: Infinity War and Pratt also earned $5 million by playing Star-Lord in the movie. The cast was paid lower salaries for the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films, and while Cooper’s salary has not been disclosed, he could have earned $3-$5 million from Vol. and Vol.2 combined.
For the third movie, Pratt’s salary increased dramatically to $20 million, so it’s anybody’s guess as to how much Cooper earned. His earnings likely reached $25-$30 million for the six MCU films he’s worked on.
Highest-Grossing Movies
Cooper’s role voicing Rocket in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is responsible for six of his ten highest-grossing movies. The character appeared in both Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War, which grossed over $2 billion apiece at the global box office, for a combined $4.85 billion. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1-3 grossed $2.5 billion, and Thor Love and Thunder grossed $761 million.
Joker is an outlier in the list, as Cooper didn’t act in the film but helped co-produce it. It grossed $335 million domestically and $1.08 billion worldwide against a budget of just $55 million.
Here’s a complete list of Bradley Cooper’s ten highest-grossing movies:
- Avengers: Endgame – $2.8 Billion (2019)
- Avengers: Infinity War – $2.05 Billion (2018)
- Joker – $1.08 Billion (2019)
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – $864 Million (2017)

- Guardians of the Galaxy – $773 Million (2014)
- Thor: Love and Thunder – $761 Million (2022)
- The Hangover Part II – $587 Million (2011)
- American Sniper – $548 Million (2014)
- The Hangover – $469 Million (2009)

Introduction
Jessica Alba is an American professional actress and businesswoman with an estimated net worth of $100 Million.
Net Worth History
Since founding The Honest Company in 2011, Jessica Alba’s net worth has been heavily dependent on the company’s valuation. We’ll discuss the details of the business shortly. At its peak in late 2015, Honest was valued at $1.7 billion, with Alba holding a 20% stake worth roughly $340 million. When the company launched its IPO in 2021, Alba’s stake had declined to roughly 6.2%, worth $130 million. In recent years, Honest’s stock price has crashed, and the company is currently valued at just $273 million. Alba’s stake? Assuming she still owns 6.2% of the business, her stake would be worth just $13.7 million today.
As a result, estimates of Alba’s net worth have fluctuated heavily over the past years. We previously listed a figure of $200 million, but have since updated our estimates to reflect the decline in the company’s valuation. At the time of writing, Jessica Alba is worth an estimated $100 Million.
Before Wealth & Fame
Although Jessica Alba was born in California, she moved frequently throughout her childhood, including brief periods in Mississippi and Texas, because of her father’s service in the US Air Force. At a young age, Alba suffered from several different health issues, which led to her spending a lot of time in the hospital. Because of this, she became very shy and introverted, often feeling socially disconnected from other children.
When Jessica was 11 years old, her mother discovered an advertisement for an acting competition. She later entered for fun but won free acting classes as a result. The class instructor introduced her to an agent, which helped her begin her journey to a professional acting career.
Acting Career
In the early 1990s, Jessica Alba landed roles in numerous television shows, including The Secret World of Alex Mack, Chicago Hope, and ABC Afterschool Specials. However, her breakout role during this time was when she was cast as Maya Graham in the 1995 reboot of the Flipper TV series. Alba was just fourteen years old at the time, and from 1995 to 1997, she starred in 44 episodes.
The remainder of the 1990s saw Jessica begin landing lead roles in films such as P.U.N.K.S., Never Been Kissed, and Idle Hands. In 2000, Alba was cast as the lead character, Max Guevera, in the FOX drama Dark Angel. This was her first significant lead role in a television show, in which she starred in all 42 episodes.
However, after Dark Angel was canceled due to a drop in viewership, Alba took a long break from television to focus on landing higher-budget movie roles. The 2000s were the most successful decade of her career at the box office, with roles in films such as Fantastic Four (2005) and its sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), alongside Chris Evans, Ioan Gruffudd, and Julian McMahon. Later, she would also appear alongside Jason Statham in Mechanic: Resurrection (2016).
Throughout her three-decade-long acting career, Jessica Alba has starred in over seventy-five different films and television shows, grossing over $1.8 billion at the global box office.
The Honest Company
In 2011, Jessica Alba co-founded The Honest Company, a business aimed at creating “safe, effective products” in the baby and beauty markets. The company sells a wide range of products designed for sensitive skin, including diapers, wipes, body wash, shampoo, lotions, cleansers, moisturizers, and makeup.
For many years, Alba’s net worth has been closely tied to The Honest Company’s valuation. The business sold $10 million worth of products in year one, and by 2015, they were generating over $150 million in revenue. During this initial growth period, they also raised several rounds of funding, including $6 million in seed funding shortly after launch. In 2014, Honest raised $70 million in financing, which valued the company at approximately $1 billion.
At some point in 2015, experts claimed that Alba owned as much as 20% of The Honest Company, which, given the above valuation, would have been worth $200 million. Jessica’s stake would inevitably be diluted over the next few rounds of fundraising, which included $75 million in 2017 and an additional $200 million in private equity in 2018.
IPO & Decline
Honest’s valuation peaked at an estimated $1.7 billion in late 2015, meaning that Alba’s stake reached a peak-value of roughly $340 million. When the company launched its IPO in May 2021, Alba held 5.65 million shares valued at $23 per share at closing. This equated to roughly 6.2% of the company, worth $130 million.
Unfortunately, in the first few years after going public, Honest began to struggle. By June 2022, the share price had crashed down to just $2.92/share. Despite a brief recovery to $8.4/share in 2024, it was only temporary. At the time of writing, The Honest Company has a share price of $2.44 with a market valuation of just $273 million. Assuming that she still owns all 5.65 million shares, her stake in the company would now be worth just $13.8 million.
Real Estate
Beverly Hills Home
In 2008, Alba purchased a five-bedroom, 5,277-square-foot estate in Beverly Hills for $4.05 million. She lived there for nearly a decade, eventually relisting the property in 2019 for $6.195 million. A deal was finalized for the asking price in April 2019.
Beverly Hills Mansion
In January 2017, Alba and her then-husband, Cash Warren, paid $9.95 million for an 8,829-square-foot house in the same area. The home had been on and off the market since 2015. It was initially listed for $15 million and eventually reduced to $11 million before the couple bagged a sweet discount. The home’s property taxes are estimated to be $128,000 annually, and its current valuation is roughly $12 million.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s earliest recorded salary was $75,000 in 1992 for What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Two years later, his salary doubled to $150,000 for The Quick and the Dead, and that same year, he earned his first 7-figure payday for The Basketball Diaries.
Titanic Salary
DiCaprio was only initially paid a $2.5 million upfront salary for his leading role in Titanic, but it was his biggest payday yet. While that figure may seem low, DiCaprio eventually earned an estimated $40 million, thanks to his 1.8% share of the gross backend, considering how much money the film earned.
Titanic grossed $674.3 million in the US and Canada and almost $2.3 billion worldwide against a budget of $200 million. It remains the fourth highest-grossing film globally and the only film produced in the 20th century to gross over $2 billion. The next highest 20th-century film on the list, Jurassic Park (1993), grossed just $1.1 billion. After his $2.5 million salary, DiCaprio’s 1.8% backend should have been worth roughly an additional $37 million.
Inception Earnings
After Titanic’s success, Leo immediately commanded a minimum of $20 million per movie. His $20 million salaries include Catch Me If You Can (2001), The Aviator (2003), Blood Diamond (2005), The Departed (2005), The Great Gatsby (2012), and The Revenant (2015).
However, one salary report that stands out is his 2009 earnings for Inception. In a similar situation to Titanic, DiCaprio opted for a share of the backend earnings, which resulted in total compensation of approximately $59 million.
Recent Acting Salaries
According to Puck News, DiCaprio’s most recent film, Killers of the Flower Moon, earned him $40 million in 2023. Considering that’s one-fifth of the movie’s $200 million budget, and it was a total flop at the box office, he earned an impressive sum. Before that, he earned $30 million in 2021 for Don’t Look Up.

I think Bradley Cooper earns every dollar he makes. He certainly is not a person who wants to be known as a
hunk or a Pretty Boy. He is not afraid to look however he needs to look for his movies.
You can tell he always wants to be as good as he can be in any movie he makes.
