Introduction

Diane Keaton was an American professional actress and director with an estimated net worth of $100 Million.

In this profile, we’ll discuss our research into Diane Keaton’s net worth and her known film salaries. We’ll also take a look at her highest-grossing films, past investments, and the estate she left behind.

Quick Facts

  • Typically earned between $1 million and $2.5 million per film in the 1980s
  • Earned a combined $1.74 million from The Godfather and The Godfather III
  • Estimated earnings of $14.1 million from eleven films
  • Inflation-adjusted total amounts to roughly $47 million

The Godfather Earnings

Diane Keaton starred as Kay Adams in all three of The Godfather films, alongside the likes of Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, and James Caan. Reports suggest that she earned just $35,000 for the original 1972 film. Since this was more than half a century ago, the inflation-adjusted equivalent would be roughly $273,000 in today’s currency. Keaton’s salary from The Godfather II was never disclosed to the public, but she reportedly earned $1.7 million from the final installment in the trilogy. Again, the film was released in 1990, and thus her earnings would be roughly $4.25 million after inflation.

Film Earnings

YearProjectSalary
1972The Godfather$35,000
1977Annie Hall$250,000
1977Looking for Mr. Goodbar$1,050,000
1978Interiors$400,000
1979Manhattan$700,000
1981Reds$2,500,000
1984The Little Drummer Girl$1,000,000
1984Mrs. Soffel$2,000,000
1986Crimes of the Heart$2,000,000
1987Baby Boom$2,500,000
1990The Godfather III$1,700,000
Total Calculated Earnings:$14,135,000

Diane Keaton starred in close to 70 films throughout her professional acting career, and while The Godfather was among her most notable roles, it wasn’t her highest-paying role. During our research into her net worth, we came across salaries from an additional nine films, all of which were released in the 1970s and 1980s.

In 1977, a few years after The Godfather II was released, Keaton earned $250,000 from her lead role in Annie Hall. The following year, she accepted a reduced paycheck of $50,000 for Looking for Mr. Goodbar, in exchange for 10% of the film’s profits. The film was rather successful, grossing $22.5 million at the box office, against a budget of just $2.5 million. Now, reports suggest Diane received 10% of the net profits, which presumably factors in both the production budget and the cut that the theatres took. In which case, she potentially earned an additional $1 million from the film.

For the remainder of the 1970s, Keaton also earned $400,000 for Interiors (1978) and $700,000 for Manhattan (1979).

In the following decade, she began commanding significantly more money per film. Based on the salaries we found, she never earned less than $1 million per role over the decade. In 1981, Keaton starred alongside Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson in the drama Reds, which reportedly earned her $2.5 million. Several years later, in 1984, she earned a combined $3 million from two films, The Little Drummer Girl and Mrs. Soffel.

Finally, Keaton’s last known film salaries were $2 million for Crime of the Heart (1986) and $2.5 million for Baby Boom (1987). This brings her total income from all of the films mentioned to roughly $14.1 million. After adjusting for inflation, this equates to roughly $47 million in total.

Real Estate

In February 2007, Diane Keaton paid $8.1 million for an 8,434-square-foot, six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in Beverly Hills, California. The Spanish Colonial-style property sits on 0.49 acres and appears to have undergone significant renovations over the years. The actress sold this home to television writer Ryan Murphy for $10 million in September 2010.

In June 2012, Keaton relocated to the Pacific Palisades, where she purchased a 7,800-square-foot, six-bedroom home. Diane paid $5.6 million for the property, which sits on a 10,018-square-foot lot and also features nine bathrooms. Perhaps the most impressive feature of this home is the wine cellar in the basement and the home gym. She sold this house for $6.9 million in January 2016.

Finally, the last known property we have information on is Keaton’s 9,206-square-foot estate in Sullivan Canyon, Los Angeles. She paid $4.7 million for this 0.65-acre property in August 2011, and later rebuilt it. The new property features five bedrooms and eight bathrooms and was featured in The House That Pinterest Built, a book Keaton published herself. Diane lived in this home until her death, but it was actually listed for sale several months prior at $28.9 million. At the time of writing, it’s still on the market, priced at $26.9 million.

The first season aired in 2022 and comprised eight episodes, theoretically earning Mirren $8 million. Season two was actually released three years later, in February 2025, and comprised just seven episodes.

Mirren starred as Cara Dutton in all 15 episodes. Assuming the same rate for each, she could have potentially earned $15 million in total from the show.

Highest-Grossing Movies

Mirren had numerous box-office hits in the early years of her career; however, most were overshadowed by more recent hits, including her role as Queenie in the Fast & Furious franchise. The Fate of the Furious, which saw her brief introduction into the series, grossed $1.24 billion at the global box office. Shen then reprised her role in the spinoff Hobbs & Shaw ($761 million), as well as F9: The Fast Saga ($726 million) and Fast X ($705 million). Of the F&F movies she’s appeared in, they’ve grossed $3.43 billion globally.

Seven of her ten top-grossing films had production budgets in the nine figures. The remaining films on the list include National Treasure: Book of Secrets ($459 million), The Prince of Egypt ($219 million), RED ($199 million), and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms ($174 million).

  10. The Nutcracker and the Four Realms – $174 Million (2018)

Endorsement Deals

Outside of her acting career, Mirren has earned additional millions through several lucrative endorsement deals and brand campaigns. The most notable of which is her role as a global ambassador for the skincare and beauty company L’Oréal Paris. She began working with the brand in 2014, promoting their Age Perfect product range, and later appeared in additional campaigns for product lines such as the Elvive hair products and True Match foundation.

Mirren’s earnings from L’Oreal have never been publicly disclosed; however, one similar agreement we can look at is Penelope Cruz, who was earning $2 million per year with the brand. Although the L’Oreal partnership has likely been the biggest earner for Helen, she’s also partnered with other brands during her career, including:

  • Absolute Vodka
  • British Airways
  • Nintendo Wii Fit
  • Sky Broadband

Real Estate

Helen Mirren and her husband, Taylor Hackford, have owned a 10,199-square-foot, eight-bedroom property in Los Angeles, California, for over three decades. For the last fourteen years or so, the property has been on and off the market, both for sale and for rent.

It appears to have been rented for $33,667/month in May 2015 and removed from the market until July 2021, when it was listed for sale at $18.5 million. Since then, no sale has occurred, although the price has dropped to $17 million. It’s also available for rent at $30,000/month.

Introduction

Hayden Panettiere was an American professional actress, model, and singer with an estimated net worth of $15 Million.

In her three-decade-long career, Panettiere starred in 26 television shows, 25 films, 10 video games, and several music videos. However, she was best known for starring in hit shows like Nashville and Heroes, which earned her most of her award nominations and wins. It’s also believed that Panettiere’s wealth was primarily derived from said shows, particularly Nashville, which became the most notable role of her career.

In this profile, we’ll outline our extensive research into Hayden Panettiere’s net worth, earnings from Nashville, and the estate she left behind.

Quick Facts

  • Earned $75,000 per episode from starring in Nashville
  • Grossed $1.7+ billion in global box office revenues
  • Sold her 3,120-square-foot Los Angeles home for $3.1 million (2014)

Nashville Salary

Several reports have suggested that Hayden Panettiere earned $75,000 per episode for starring in the television show Nashville. However, this figure has not been confirmed because no timeline has been provided. Since Nashville aired for six seasons between 2012 and 2016 and faced budget issues after season four, it’s unlikely her salary remained constant throughout the show’s run.

If, for some reason, she did earn that exact figure for every episode she appeared in, 124 in total, Panettiere would have earned approximately $9.3 million from all six seasons.

Additional Income Sources

Unfortunately for us, Hayden Panettiere’s only reported salary as a professional actress was from Nashville. Nothing else has ever been discussed in the media regarding her earnings. However, Nashville accounts for just one of the more than 70 projects that Panatierre has worked on throughout her career.

She also appeared in numerous hit films, several of which grossed over $100 million at the worldwide box office, which we’ll get to shortly. Her extended film roles include A Bug’s Life (1998), Remember the Titans (2000), Scream 4 (2011), and Scream VI (2023).

As for television, three shows stand out in particular outside of Nashville. These include One Life to Live in the mid-1990s, Guiding Light in the late 1990s, and Heroes in the late 2000s.

Highest-Grossing Movies

Here’s a complete list of Hayden Panettiere’s ten highest-grossing films:

  1. A Bug’s Life – $363 Million (1998)
  2. Dinosaur – $350 Million (2000)
  3. Scream VI – $169 Million (2023)
  4. Scream – $138 Million (2022)
  5. Bridge to Terabithia – $138 Million (2007)
  6. Remember the Titans – $137 Million (2000)
  7. Message in a Bottle – $119 Million (1999)
  8. Scream 4 – $97 Million (2011)
  9. Racing Stripes – $91 Million (2005)
  10. Alpha and Omega – $51 Million (2010)

Real Estate

In March 2008, Hayden Panettiere purchased a 3,120-square-foot, two-bedroom home in Los Angeles, California, for $2.635 million. She sold this property for $3.075 million in February 2014, and it appears to have undergone significant renovation since then. The home recently sold for $13.5 million in July 2024.

Philanthropy

Panettiere supported various charities, including the African Wildlife Foundation, the American Foundation for Equal Rights, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Candie’s Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Declare Yourself, Easter Seals, Elton John AIDS Foundation, and K9 Connection.

Death & Estate

On August 16, 2026, Panettiere was found unresponsive at an apartment in Greenville, South Carolina. EMS had been responding to reports of a cardiac arrest, and after arriving at the location, attempted to resuscitate Panettiere, but their efforts were unsuccessful. She was just 36 years old. At the time of writing, there has been no official confirmation of the cause of death, but evidence suggests signs of a possible overdose.

It is likely that the actress’ estate will be left to her eleven-year-old daughter, Kaya Evdokia Klitschko, whose father is former professional boxer Wladimir Klitschko. However, at this time it’s unknown whether Hayden had organized a will in the event of her death.
