Robert was raised in Greenwich Village with his older sister, Allison. After his debut in Pound, he would go on to have small parts in several more of his father’s movies. Downey moved to Los Angeles with his father when he was 13, after his parents divorced.

When he turned 16, he dropped out of high school and relocated to New York to live with his mother. Downey had a lot of problems with his substance abuse, including alcohol and drugs. The following year, he starred in a film restoration alongside Meg Ryan and Sam Neill, in the updated movie version of Richard III (1995), and in the Jodie Foster-directed Home for the Holidays, also starring Holly Hunter.

Downey Jr.’s role as Tony Stark in the MCU is responsible for most of his career earnings. Thanks to some impressive negotiations, he’s earned more money from the franchise than any other actor. However, Robert was paid just $500,000 for his debut with the franchise in 2008’s Iron ManReports also suggest that his total compensation, after accounting for back-end points, was $2.5 million.

His salary increased to $10 million for Iron Man 2 (2010). He also received $10 million upfront for the next MCU film, The Avengers (2012). However, this time, Robert secured a lucrative backend deal, resulting in an additional $40 million after the film grossed $1.52 billion at the box office.

Downey Jr. had a similar deal in place for 2013’s Iron Man 3, which also grossed over $1 billion worldwide and netted him roughly $75 million. Love him as Iron Man Dan. I love too how he came back from some big time drug and alcohol problems. He was a punch line to many jokes for years and even woke up in a stranger’s home once but the guy made it, worth over a quarter of a billion dollars through persistence and some brilliant acting. So quick on his feet.

Introduction

Beanie Feldstein is an American professional actress with an estimated net worth of $3 Million.

While Beanie Feldstein initially debuted as an actor in an episode of My Wife and Kids in the early 2000s, her career didn’t take off until the mid-2010s. To date, she’s starred in approximately thirty films and television shows, but is best known for her film roles in Neighbors 2 and Booksmart.

This profile outlines our research into Beanie Feldstein’s net worth, income sources, highest-grossing films, and any other aspects of her finances.

Quick Facts

  • Secured endorsement deals with Aerie and Gucci
  • Grossed $230+ million in global box office revenues

Income Sources

Unfortunately for us, none of Beanie Feldstein’s film salaries have ever been disclosed to the public. However, we’re safe in assuming that this is where the majority of her income and net worth has come from.

So instead of listing how much she’s earned from her film roles, as we would normally do, let’s take a look at those which would have earned her the most.

While Feldstein technically made her on-screen debut as a child in 2002, one could argue that her career didn’t really begin until the mid-2010s. In fact, her debut film role in Neighbors 2, alongside stars like Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, and Chloë Grace Moretz, remains the highest-grossing film of her career. Despite this, she played only a minor role, and the movie likely didn’t pay her a substantial salary.

That said, Beanie’s performance in Neighbors 2 opened doors. Towards the end of the decade, she landed roles in films like Lady Bird, Booksmart, and How to Build a Girl. This time, she wasn’t sharing the screen with numerous renowned actors, giving her roles more attention. She also played the lead/co-lead actress in two of the films mentioned above.

In recent years, Feldstein’s most notable roles include voicing the titular character Harriet in the animated show, Harriet the Spy. She also played Althea in 6 episodes of Murders in the Building, and Sukie in Drive-Away Dolls.

Highest-Grossing Movies

Feldstein’s biggest box-office hit was in 2016, when she starred in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. The film grossed $108 million worldwide against a $35 million budget, although it was nowhere near the success of the first movie, which grossed $270 million against only an $18 million production budget.

Feldstein also starred in Lady Bird ($79 million) and Booksmart, which grossed $25 million against a $6 million budget. Two of her other entries on the list include very recent roles in Selma ($9 million) and Drive-Away Dolls ($7.9 million), both released in 2024.

Here’s a complete list of Beanie Feldstein’s ten highest-grossing films:

  1. Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising – $108 Million (2016)
  2. Lady Bird – $79 Million (2017)
  3. Booksmart – $25 Million (2019)
  4. Thelma – $9 Million (2024)
  5. Drive-Away Dolls – $7.9 Million (2024)
  6. How to Build a Girl – $71 Thousand (2019)
  7. The Humans – $47 Thousand (2021)
  8. The Female Brain – $22 Thousand (2017)

Additional Income Sources

Outside of film and television, Beanie Feldstein also earns an income from several sources, including:

  • Broadway shows
  • Social media sponsorships
  • Speaking engagements
  • Brand endorsements/collaborations

Regarding the latter income stream, Feldstein has previously appeared in a fashion campaign for Gucci. Additionally, she appeared as an AerieREAL Role Model for the clothing retailer Aerie.

Introduction

Morris Chestnut is an American professional actor with an estimated net worth of $6 Million.

Since launching his career with an appearance in Freddie’s Nightmares in 1990, Morris Chestnut has starred in nearly 60 films and television shows. While best known for his work in films such as Boyz n the Hood, Think Like A Man, and Best Man Holiday, Chestnut’s recent work has been primarily in television.

This profile examines Morris Chestnut’s net worth, income sources, highest-grossing films, assets, and other events related to his finances.

Quick Facts

  • Grossed $1.3+ billion in global box office revenue
  • Faced with a $215,800 IRS tax lien in 2010
  • Assets include a 6,610-square-foot, $3.6 million home in Calabasas

Income Sources

Interestingly, none of Morris Chestnut’s film salaries have ever been disclosed to the public. The actor first realized success in the 1991 film Boyz n the Hood, which was actually his debut film. For a while, none of his projects quite lived up to the same level of success. However, towards the end of the decade, Chestnut began landing roles in films like Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995), G.I. Jane (1997), and The Best Man (1999).

During the 2000s, he picked up roles in a wide range of films, beginning with the children’s basketball film Like Mike (2002), starring alongside Bow Wow. Morris also had the opportunity to play a lead role in Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004), and smaller roles in The Game Plan and The Perfect Holiday.

Despite taking a break from the film industry towards the end of the 2010s, Chestnut still found the time to reprise his role as Lance in The Best Man Holiday. He also played law enforcement in three films that were all released in the same year: Identity Thief (2013) starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, The Call (2013) starring Halle Berry, and Kick-Ass 2 (2013)

TV Career

For the past decade or so, Morris Chestnut’s primary source of income has been on television. In fact, he hasn’t even starred in a film since 2017. During the last ten years, Chestnut has worked on eleven television shows, though not all are considered equal. We believe that three shows in particular have likely earned him a substantial salary.

Rosewood

In 2015, Chestnut landed the lead role as Dr. Beaumont Rosewood in the FOX medical drama, Rosewood. He was the star of the show, which aired for two seasons totaling 44 episodes. Now, of course, salaries weren’t revealed, but industry experts estimate that he could have earned between $75,000 and $150,000 per episode. This brings his potential compensation to between $3.3 million and $6.6 million, if accurate.

The Resident

The year after Rosewood was canceled by FOX, Chestnut began starring in another medical drama, this time on Hulu. He played Barrett Cain in 30 episodes of The Resident, but unlike Rosewood, this wasn’t a lead role. Still, the sheer volume of episodes likely more than made up for it.

Watson

Last, but definitely not least, is the CBS Original show, Watson, which, as the name suggests, takes place in the world of Sherlock Holmes. Why is this show such an important project? Not only is it part of a globally renowned franchise, but Chestnut also stars as the lead character, Dr. John Watson, and is credited as an executive producer on 14 episodes.

To date, Watson has aired two seasons and 33 episodes, with the most recent episode airing in May 2026. Given his roles on the show, several estimates suggest that he could be earning upwards of $200,000 per episode. As with his other projects, these are only estimates, not verified figures.

Highest-Grossing Films

Here are the highest-grossing films of Morris Chestnut’s career:

  1. Identity Thief (2013) -$173.9 million
  2. The Game Plan (2007) – $147.8 million

  9. Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid (2004) – $70.99 million
  10. The Call (2013) – $68.5 million

IRS Issues

According to reports, in January 2010, the IRS filed a tax lien against Morris Chesnut and his wife. The lien was for $215,800 in unpaid income taxes, but Chesnut disputed the figure. His financial manager at the time advised him not to pay the debt until the dispute was resolved. We’re not sure what happened in this case, but it’s presumably now been closed.

Real Estate

Morris Chesnut has lived in the northwestern suburbs of Los Angeles for a long time. In May 2001, he paid $707,000 for a 3,779-square-foot, five-bedroom, five-bathroom home in Granada Hills, California. Oddly enough, he sold this property just a year later for $720,000.

In 2007, Chesnut spent $3.3 million on a 5,522-square-foot hilltop home in Hidden Hills. This property has since been torn down and rebuilt; however, it previously featured amenities such as an outdoor pool and tennis court. Chesnut lost a substantial sum of money on this property when he sold it for just $2.3 million in 2012.

In November 2020, Morris paid $2.44 million for a 6,610-square-foot, six-bedroom, eight-bathroom home in Calabasas, California. According to public records, he still owns this property, which is now valued at an estimated $3.4 million.

Summary

Morris Chestnut’s long and successful career started with his acting debut in the late 80s and has culminated in his status as a leading man in Hollywood since the 90s. He’s received numerous accolades and award nominations throughout his career, and he remains a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
