Early Life

Trevor Noah was born on the 20th of February, 1984, in Soweto, South Africa.

Noah is the son of a black Xhosa mother and a white Swiss-German father.

Career 

Trevor Noah got his start on an episode of the South African soap opera Isidingo before hosting his show on a youth radio station. 

After being dared by friends, Noah performed a stand-up routine at a local nightclub and quickly fell in love with it. Noah left radio to pursue a comedy career and began performing with other South African comedians. 

In 2007, Noah was the opening act for Gabriel Iglesias and Russell Peters when they toured in South Africa.

While pursuing comedy, Trevor Noah hosted The Real Goboza, a gospel-themed show, and the sports show, Siyadlala.
