Favorite Quotes from Eddie Jackson

“It’s like the military. When you’re forced to have your clothes folded a certain way, even when you leave, you still fold your clothes that way. I left the game, but I still find myself being conscious of what I eat.” – Eddie Jackson

“Coach Nagy, man, if people really understand the type of coach Nagy is, they wouldn’t even question trying to blame him for what’s going on. Coach Nagy is a players’ coach. He listens to us. He does everything to make our bodies feel good or help us with practice, help us learn how we feel best for the team. That’s one thing we love about him.” – Eddie Jackson

“As he said, there’s nothing to say. It just fixes the problem. It’s as simple as that. We love coach Nagy because he takes responsibility for his mistakes, so when you see a coach like that that holds himself accountable, as a player, it makes you hold yourself and your teammates accountable.” – Eddie Jackson

“It was a couple plays left out there. Me, especially the big bomb, I had a great break on it in the post, and I should have just gone up and got the ball. I really put that on me. That’s been eating me up since Sunday because I feel that was like the game-changer play for us in the first half.” – Eddie Jackson

“Last year, you get a lot of targets. People don’t know about you. Now, it’s like I gotta disguise. I’m up for the challenge. I ain’t making no excuses for nothing. I’m just saying that I gotta step it up as a player.” – Eddie Jackson
