Favorite Quotes from JaMarcus Russell

“It’s going to be very important once we get on a roll, week by week, instead of one game Monday and another game Saturday. It’s going to be great.” – JaMarcus Russell

“Fats just stayed at my apartment, rested, watched the news. I’ve had people sleeping on the floor, the couch, everywhere. It’s been pretty crazy.” – JaMarcus Russell

“Actually that really wasn’t the reason that I came here. I just so happened to get caught up in a situation where it wasn’t about me. I was kind of caught up in the middle of it, but that is definitely not why I am here.” – JaMarcus Russell

“From day one, training camp. That is the business side of football, and I had to go through that until week two of the season. The thing is, they weren’t negotiating my contract until training camp started.” – JaMarcus Russell

“Instead of going to class every day, you are at work all day. In school, you would have to go to class, football practice, and then study hall. Study hall in the NFL would be practice throughout the day, film time, film session on your own, so it is kind of everybody knows what they are doing because this is their job and this is what they are entitled to.” – JaMarcus Russell

3 Awesome Lessons from JaMarcus Russell

Now that you know all about JaMarcus Russell’s net worth and how he achieved success; let’s take a look at some of the lessons we can learn from him:

1. Be Confident

Stay confident. Russell was always confident. It’s just about him being confident in what he’s doing and knowing what’s going on with his team.

2. Mistakes

Ain’t no telling how much we could’ve won by without the mistakes. We shot ourselves in the foot. We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are here now with the power to shape your day and your future.

3. Work Hard

Work hard every day towards your goals. Life is not easy. You will need to sweat and fight hard each day of your life. We think, mistakenly, that success is the result of the amount of time we put in at work, instead of the quality of time we put in.
