Introduction
Logic’s net worth is roughly $14 Million.
Sir Robert Bryson “Bobby” Hall II, known more commonly by his stage name Logic, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He started rapping as a teenager.
Early Life
Logic was born Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, on the 22nd January 1990, in Rockville, Maryland.
He spent much of his youth in the West Deer Park neighborhood in Gaithersburg. Logic’s father suffered from cocaine addiction, while his mother suffered from alcoholism, and despite his father being absent in his childhood, Logic was able to reconnect with him due to his burgeoning rap career.
During his early adolescent years, Logic witnessed his brothers produce and distribute crack cocaine to “addicts all over the block,” as well as seeing his siblings sell the drugs to his father. In fact, Logic has stated that he knows how to manufacture and produce crack cocaine after growing up around his siblings.
Logic attended Gaithersburg High School, but he never graduated and was expelled in the 10th grade for skipping classes.
Career
Before going by Logic, Robert Hall started performing under the moniker Psychological in 2009, releasing the mixtape Psychological – Logic: The Mixtape. After releasing this tape, he got the opportunity to start performing as the opening act for big artists such as Pitbull, Redman, and Ludacris across Maryland.
Shortly after this, he shortened Psychological to Logic, taking on the stage name that millions of people now know him by. Following these experiences, Logic released his first official mixtape, Young, Broke & Famous, in 2010, which was received well by critics. Having garnered a solid fan following, Chris Zarou signed Logic to the independent music label Visionary Music Group.
Young Sinatra And Growing Fame
After signing with Visionary Music Group, Logic released his second mixtape, Young Sinatra, the first in the Young Sinatra chronology. When that tape received critical acclaim, he dropped his third mixtape, Young Sinatra: Undeniable, in April 2010.
In early 2013, Logic was featured in XXL as part of the magazine’s Top 10 Freshman List alongside other rappers like Travis Scott and Dizzy Wright. When he completed his first European Tour, he announced his fourth mixtape, Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever, and a new national tour.
Following this, Logic was signed to Def Jam Records and began touring with Big Sean and Kid Cudi in the fall of 2013.
Successful Under Pressure
In November 2013, Logic announced that his debut album was underway. In January 2014, he released the song “24 Freestyle” to celebrate his birthday. Later that year, he released “Driving Ms. Daisy,” a collaboration with Childish Gambino, which quickly became popular.
His debut album, Under Pressure, was released in October. It sold over 70,000 copies in its first week after debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Shortly after, Logic made his network television debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, performing the song “I’m Gone” with the Roots.
A year later, the trailer for his second studio album went live, and he described it as a “motion picture sci-fi epic.”
The Incredible True Story, featuring Steve Blum, known best for voicing Spike Spiegel, debuted at No. 3. It was a commercial success, easily reaching No. 1 on the Top Hip-Hop Albums chart, and was certified platinum.
In 2017, he announced the title of his third album, Everybody, which would include the singles “Black Spider-Man” and “1-800-273-8255.” The single “1-800-273-8255” was created in association with the National Suicide Prevention Hotline and was certified platinum five times.
Logic Branches Out
In September 2018, Logic released his fourth studio album, YSIV, followed a few months later by his fifth album, Supermarket. Making Supermarket incredibly interesting is that it was designed as a soundtrack to tie into an accompanying novel written by Logic. Although the album wasn’t as well received as his others, he did become the first rapper to have a New York Times No. 1 best-selling novel.
Logic released his sixth album, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, a year later, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Logic also entered the world of video games in 2020, providing the voice and motion capture for a villain in the final chapter of The Last of Us Part II.
In July 2020, he signed an exclusive deal with Twitch and started streaming full-time, interacting with fans, playing games, and producing beats. While his first stream was an album listening party, he’s since gone on to play games with popular streamers, including Mr. Beast and JackSepticEye.
Music, Acting, And A Memoir
Logic announced the release of his autobiographical memoir A Bright Future in March 2021, and in June, he stated he was returning to music. After releasing his seventh mixtape, he debuted onscreen in Mr. Corman, an Apple TV series that premiered in August.
In January 2022, he guest starred in two episodes of the animated series, The Legend of Vox Machina, before dropping his eighth Studio album, Vinyl Days. His ninth studio album, College Park, was released in February 2023, and in June, he sold his music catalog for an undisclosed eight-figure sum. While he’s been lowkey since the birth of his second child in July, we expect to see a lot more from Logic in the future.
Estimated Net Worth
Logic’s net worth is $14 Million.
Real Estate
In 2016, Logic paid $1.9 million for a 6,000-square-foot, five-bedroom home in Calabasas, California. He lived there with his former wife, Jessica Andrea, until their divorce in 2018. Following the divorce, the rapper listed the home back on the market for $2.199 million in April 2018. The property reportedly sold for $2.035 million in July.
After moving out of his old home, Logic paid $3.57 million for a 7,000-square-foot bachelor mansion in the Hidden Hills. The house comprises six bedrooms and sits on a 1.25-acre lot. Logic lived there for two and a half years before listing the property back on the market for $5 million in October 2020. It eventually sold for just $3.9 million in February 2021. Given his property taxes and agent fees, he likely just about broke even on the sale.
