Cejudo is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is the former reigning champion of both the promotion’s Bantamweight and Flyweight divisions.

As of March 2024, Henry Cejudo’s net worth is estimated to be roughly $2 Million.

Early Life

Henry Cejudo was born on the 9th of February, 1987, in Los Angeles.

Henry Cejudo got his start in wrestling at the Sunkist Open in 2005, and he earned many significant victories while competing at the senior level.

In April 2005, he won the US National Championship and became the first high schooler to qualify since the organization was established.

Two years later, he took home the bronze medal at the World Cup and claimed his second U.S. national title.

By May, he’d earned his second Pan-American title and then made the U.S. World Team after beating Matt Azevedo.

While he wasn’t taking on opponents like The Undertaker, Cejudo’s skills, especially at his young age, were extremely impressive.

Cejudo’s Wrestling Career

In 2008, Henry Cejudo made it to the Summer Olympics, where he started with a win against Radoslav Velikov, the 2006 World Champion.

After beating Tomohiro Matsunaga, he became the youngest American to win Gold at the Olympics in wrestling history.

Cejudo then took a break from wrestling, and when he came back he claimed the Sunkist Open title once again.

During the 2012 Olympic Team Trials, he downed Obe Blanc before eventually being defeated by Nick Simmons and losing a spot on the team.

He then retired from the sport and, a year later, announced on Twitter that he was training for a new career in MMA.

Although he wasn’t destined to become one of the richest wrestlers in the world, as a mixed martial artist he would become one of the best.

In 2014, Cejudo signed with the UFC, the third Olympic gold medal wrestler behind Mark Schultz and Kevin Jackson, to join the organization.

In 2016, he faced Demetrious Johnson for the Flyweight title but lost via TKO in the first round after a series of strikes.

Two years later, he had a rematch with Johnson and won the back-and-fourth fight to become the second UFC Flyweight Champion.

He was set to defend his title against T.J. Dillashaw in 2019, but the pay-per-view was canceled and moved to UFC Fight Night 143.

Fortunately, he was able to retain his title, beating Dillashaw with a TKO just 32 seconds into the match.

Success & Retirement

Henry Cejudo faced Marlon Moraes for the UFC Bantamweight Championship and won with a TKO in the third round.

This win made him the fourth fighter to hold championships in two weight classes simultaneously in the UFC, and it earned him a Performance of the Night award.

However, after an ankle injury, Cejudo relinquished his UFC Flyweight title, so he could focus on the bantamweight division.

Unfortunately, he then suffered from a shoulder injury that made him inactive until 2020, when he focused on healing.

In May 2020, he was scheduled to face Jose Aldo, but when Aldo pulled out due to visa issues, Dominick Cruz took his place.

After winning that fight, Cejudo announced he was retiring from professional fighting, and he vacated the UFC Bantamweight Title.

He then made a comeback in 2023, facing Aljamain Sterling for the Bantamweight title, but lost via split decision.

Cejudo was then set to fight Marlon Vera, but withdrew due to injury and was replaced by Pedro Munhoz.

Most recently, he faced Merab Dvalishvili on February 17, 2024, and he won after three rounds via a unanimous decision.

Introduction

As of March 2024, Conor McGregor’s net worth is $200 Million, making him the richest MMA fighter in the world.

Conor McGregor is an Irish professional MMA fighter and entrepreneur in the UFC.

McGregor is the former UFC Lightweight Champion and UFC Featherweight Champion.

McGregor is one of only a few fighters in UFC history to have won titles in more than one weight class.

Early Life

Conor McGregor was born in Dublin, Ireland on the 14th of July 1988.

He was raised in Crumlin and attended school in Coláiste de hÍde in Tallaght.

Before becoming interested in fighting, McGregor became a big fan of soccer.

He then started boxing at Crumlin Boxing Club when he was 12 years old.

Conor was raised in a working-class family, and after he left school, he undertook a plumbing apprenticeship.

During this time, he also started training in mixed martial arts with a new friend, and future UFC fighter, Tom Egan.

Career

Conor’s career in mixed martial arts began when he was 18 years old and made his MMA debut.

He won his first amateur fight by TKO against Kieran Campbell, and after the fight was signed to the Irish Cage of Truth Promotions.

This is when his professional fighting career began.

McGregor fought professionally for 5 years, before being offered a contract to fight in the UFC.

Ultimate Fighting Championship

In February 2013, Conor McGregor was officially signed to the UFC.

At the time, he was only the second Irish fighter to have signed with the organization; with his teammate and friend, Tom Egan, being the first.

In April 2013, McGregor made his UFC Featherweight debut against Marcus Brimage, winning by technical knockout in the 1st round, and receiving his first “Knockout of the Night” bonus.

During the post-fight speech, McGregor took the microphone and addressed Dana White with the now-famous quote: “Dana, 60 G’s baby!”

After winning his debut, he went on to receive victories against his next four opponents: Max Holloway, Diego Brandao, Dustin Poirier, and Dennis Silver.

UFC Featherweight Championship

In 2015, the fight for the UFC Featherweight Championship belt between Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo was announced.

The pair went on a 12-day world tour doing interviews leading up to the event, with the UFC stating that this was the most heavily promoted fight thus far in the organization’s 22-year history.

Aldo would end up pulling out of the fight due to a rib injury, which led to Conor McGregor fighting, and defeating, Chad Mendes for the UFC Interim Featherweight Champion belt.

On the 10th of August, 2015, the fight for the Featherweight Championship between Aldo and McGregor was announced once again.

In December 2015, McGregor would knock out Jose Aldo in just 13 seconds (the fastest-ever knockout for a title bout), earning himself the UFC Featherweight Championship belt.

The Notorious suffered his very first UFC loss in 2016 to Nate Diaz, in a fight that took place in the Welterweight division. After losing due to submission in the first fight, a rematch took place just 5 months later, where McGregor would avenge his loss via a majority decision.

UFC Lightweight Championship

In November 2016, McGregor beat Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC Lightweight Championship belt, marking the first time a fighter had simultaneously held belts in two divisions.

It was after this moment, that McGregor’s career would start to take a downturn.

Conor took time away from the sport for the birth of his first child, and he was stripped of his Featherweight Championship belt due to his inactivity within the division.

In 2018, McGregor would also be stripped of the Lightweight Championship belt, once again due to inactivity.

His career in the UFC has since been relatively sporadic, with losses to Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier, and a single win over the cowboy Donald Cerrone.

McGregor is currently anticipated to return to the UFC sometime in 2023 to face off against the veteran Michael Chandler.

Professional Boxing Debut

In 2017, McGregor announce his professional boxing debut against the undefeated, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather Jr.

The fight took place on the 26th of August, 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

It was stated that Conor would receive a guaranteed $30 million for the fight, Whilst Mayweather would receive $100 million.

McGregor lost by TKO in round 10, however, the event was such a success that McGregor ended up earning an estimated $130 million from the fight.

In September 2018, Conor McGregor launched his own whiskey brand, ‘Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey’, named after the childhood neighborhood he grew up in.

In 2021, a deal was struck for McGregor and his business partners to sell their 51% majority stake in the company to Proximo Spirits, who already owned the other 49% of the company.

As of March 2024, Stipe Miocic’s net worth is roughly $4 Million.

Stipe Miocic is a Croatian American professional mixed martial artist and Firefighter-Paramedic.

Miocic is currently signed to the UFC. He is the two-time and current UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Early Life

Stipe Miocic was born on the 19th of August, 1982, in Ohio.

Even though the family lived in difficult, there was no dearth of necessities when Stipe was growing up and both his parents worked to provide their kids with a better lifestyle.

When he was 3 years old, his parents divorced and his father went back to Croatia.

Career

Since childhood, Stipe Miocic has been involved with sports, wrestling, and playing baseball and football while at Eastlake North High School.

While at university, he received interest from Major League Baseball teams and played Division II baseball at Coker College as a junior.

Although he could have joined any of the richest MLB teams, Miocic had other skills he chose to explore and hone.

He also wrestled in the 197 lbs weight class for the Cleveland State Vikings, and he competed in the 2003 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.

Miocic’s Early Career

While he was still in school, Stipe Miocic was made a training partner of Dan Bobish at Strong Style MMA Training Centre in Ohio.

After finishing school, he returned to the training center once more, and while he started with mixed martial arts, he soon changed his focus to boxing.

Despite only training for several months, his coach, Marcus Marinelli, stated he could beat boxers with years more experience.

With eight months of training under his belt, he had already become a Golden Gloves boxing champion, reaching the quarter-finals in the nationals.

However, inspired by the richest MMA fighters in the world, Miocic eventually turned back to mixed martial arts, which kicked off his career.

A Talented Fighter

Once he had officially started his MMA career, Stipe Miocic won his first six fights by knocking out his opponents.

In 2011, he signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC and made his debut against Joey Beltran, winning with a unanimous decision.

He faced Phil De Fries in February 2012, winning the fight in the first round via KO, and earned the Knockout of the Night award.

A few months later, he faced newcomer Shane del Rosario and won with a TKO in the second round.

He lost his first fight in September 2012 to Stefan Struve via TKO, though both fighters won Fight of the Night honors.

The following year, he was scheduled to face Soa Palelei but ended up squaring off with Roy Nelson after Palelei was injured.

After winning that fight, he took on Gabriel Gonzaga, winning by a unanimous decision with Junior dos Santos as his next opponent.

Beating The Odds

While an injury sidelined Junior, Miocic fought Fábio Maldonado instead, winning via TKO and earning Fight of the Night honors.

In December, he finally got to take on dos Santos, but lost the fight by unanimous decision, his second significant loss.

He was expected to face Ben Rothwell at UFC Fight Night 76 in 2015, but Rothwell ended up pulling out.

Instead, Miocic faced Andrei Arlovski who he defeated in the first round for a Performance of the Night bonus.

Shortly after, he was poised to fight Fabrício Werdum at the UFC Heavyweight Championship until Werdum pulled out with a back injury.

Eventually, the pair squared off in 2016, and Miocic dished out Werdum’s first loss since 2011 to win the championship.

A Reigning Champion

Miocic defeated his title for the first time in 2016 against Alistair Overeem, and while he got knocked down, he came back to win via KO.

At UFC 211, Stipe Miocic defended his championship title again, this time from Junior dos Santos, who he’d previously lost to by unanimous decision.

However, this time, Miocic dominated dos Santos to maintain his titles, taking down his opponent midway through the first round.

In 2018, he faced Francis Ngannou at UFC 220 in one of the most exciting fights in UFC history and he walked away victorious.

For his fourth title defense, he faced Daniel Cormier, the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion in what was dubbed a “super fight.”

Unfortunately, he lost via a knockout in the first round, though it was controversial since Cormier had jabbed Miocic in the eye.

Rematches And Comebacks

In August 2019, Stipe Miocic and Cormier had a rematch for the Heavyweight Championship title, and this tie Miocic won.

However, he ended up being out of the game until 2020 due to retinal damage from another accidental eye poke from Cormier.

Once back, a trilogy fight between Miocic and Cormier was set for August, which Miocic won, though both fighters suffered eye pokes during the match.

The following year, he faced Francis Ngannou again at UFC 260 but lost during the second round via knockout.

After a two-year hiatus, he was scheduled to face Jon Jones in November 2023, but the fight was scrapped after Jones suffered a pectoral injury.

Despite not being as well-known as Conor McGregor, Stipe Miocic’s MMA record is definitely impressive and it’s made him one of the best in the sport.
