Lozada is known as one of the six main cast members in the reality series ‘Basketball Wives’ throughout its run beginning in 2010.

Evelyn Alexandra Lozada was born on the 10th of December, 1975, in The Bronx. Lozada is the daughter of Nengo Lozada and Sylvia Ferrer. She was raised with her sister by her mother. She is of Puerto Rican ancestry. 

In 2007, Lozada moved to Miami. She worked as a secretary and later became co-owner of Dulce, a shoe boutique located in Coral Gables, Florida. She was raised as a Roman Catholic. 



After becoming a co-owner of Dulce, she appeared on the show’ Basketball Wives’ on VH1 from 2010 to 2013. The show followed the lives of wives, ex-wives, and girlfriends of professional basketball players. Lozada has been featured on all of the show’s seven seasons.

In 2012, Lozada appeared on the show ‘Iyanla: Fix My Life’. Another reality show ‘Ev and Ocho’ had been planned to follow the lives of her and former husband Chad Johnson. She has starred with her daughter Shaniece on the short reality TV series ‘Livin Lozada’.
