Introduction

John Cena is an American professional wrestler, actor, and TV show host with an estimated net worth of $80 Million

This profile details our research into John Cena’s net worth, career, and sources of income. This includes earnings from his bodybuilding career, WWE tenure, and film paychecks.

Bodybuilding Career

John Cena is known for his well-built physique, which he displays in the ring, but what most people don’t know is that this physique was initially developed in an attempt to become a professional bodybuilder.

After graduating from Springfield College in 1998, Cena moved to California, hoping to make bodybuilding his full-time career. If you scour the internet, you’ll find pictures and videos of Cena posing in a competition setting. During this time, John Cena was working at the famous Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach for $6 per hour and part-time as a limousine driver.

In an interview with the U.S. Sun, Cena explained: “I slept in my car for a while, which happened to be a very roomy 1991 Lincoln Town Car. I had my clothes in the trunk, and I slept in the back seat.” It was actually a member of Gold’s Gym who suggested to Cena that he should try out as a professional wrestler.

Wrestling Career

Cena made his professional wrestling debut in 1999 for Ultimate Pro Wrestling (UPW). He wrestled for UPW for 2 years, holding the UPW Heavyweight Championship for 27 days. During this time, Cenas also developed a semi-robotic character, which he called ‘The Prototype’.

John received the opportunity to try out for the WWF, as it was known back then, in October 2000. He lost his unofficial debut against Mikey Richardson, but received a second opportunity in January 2001 at a SmackDown! event, defeating Aaron Aguilera.

In 2001, Cena signed an official contract with the WWF’s Ohio Valley Wrestling subdivision. A year later, Cena was put on OVW’s main roster and became part of the OVW Class of 2002, alongside legends Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, and Bautista. He made his official WWE TV debut in June 2002, facing Kurt Angle, and lost the match, but impressed the audience and his fellow WWE stars.

During the early stages of his WWE career, Cena rebranded his wrestling character as ‘The Doctor of Thuganomics’. This came after he dressed and rapped as Vanilla Ice in a Halloween episode. Cena would start rapping before his matches, wearing hats and sports jerseys as part of his character’s uniform.

In 2003, Cena fought Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship but lost. At WrestleMania on March 14, 2004, he defeated Big Show to win the United States Championship, which was his first WWE singles championship.

In 2005, Cena finally became the WWE Champion after defeating John Layfield. Cena went on to win multiple championships throughout his career, and he’s been named by many of his peers as the ‘greatest professional wrestler’ of all time.

Film Career

Aside from wrestling, John Cena has also had a highly lucrative career as an actor, starring in a wide variety of movies. In 2006, WWE Studios produced the film ‘The Marine’, in which Cena starred. Two years later, the production company also put together the film ’12 Rounds’, with Cena playing the main character. Cena’s biggest acting roles have come in more recent years, with parts in movies such as Trainwreck, Blockers, Daddy’s Home 2, and Bumblebee.

In 2019, he was cast as Dominic Toretto’s younger brother, Jakob, in F9, which quickly became the most prominent role of his career. He would also return in 2023 to play Jakob once again in Fast X. John Cena is one of the most successful wrestlers-turned-actors, alongside the likes of Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock.

He’s acted alongside many world-famous actors, such as:

2010Fred: The Movie$25,000
2011Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred$25,000

2023Fast X$2,000,000
2024Ricky Stanicky$5,000,000
2024Jackpot!$2,500,000

Unfortunately, many of John Cena’s salaries for his most popular films, including hits such as Daddy’s Home, Blockers, Bumblebee, Playing with Fire, and Vacation Friends, remain unknown. However, we do know a considerable amount of his movie paychecks.

For Cena’s first major film, The Marine (2006), he reportedly earned $280,000. Several years later, he earned a combined $80,000 for starring in all three films of the Fred trilogy.

In the mid-2010s, Cena began earning multiple seven-figure paychecks per film, including a $2.5 million payday for his brief appearance in Trainwreck. IMDB currently lists the figure at $25 million, but we believe the editor accidentally added an extra zero. In recent years, he reportedly earned $1 million for starring in F9: The Fast Saga and $2 million for the subsequent film, Fast X.

At the time of writing this article, John Cena’s highest recorded film salary was $7 million for starring in 2021’s The Suicide Squad. He also earned a combined $7.5 million in 2024 from two films: Ricky Stanicky ($5 million) and Jackpot! ($2.5 million). In total, these film roles account for $20.36 million of Cena’s acting earnings.

Peacemaker Salary

According to reports, John Cena is being paid $500,000 per episode to star in the Max Original series, Peacemaker. Since there are eight episodes per season and the series has aired for two seasons, this should amount to $4 million per season and $8 million overall.

Thomas Ashbourne Partnership

Thomas Ashbourne is a ready-to-drink cocktail brand, spearheaded by Cara Kamanev, former vice president of consumer engagement at L’Oreal. The brand also has several celebrity founding partners, such as Sarah Jessica Parker, John Cena, Neil Patrick Harris, and Playboi Carti. Each of them created their own drink for the product line, with John Cena’s drink being his version of the Old Fashioned, which he said took considerable time to perfect.

Other Brand Sponsorships

John Cena’s huge social media following, wrestling legacy, and acting stardom have presented him with many brand sponsorship opportunities over the years. Cena took part in a 2012 Fruity Pebbles promotion, appearing on the front of 5 million cereal boxes. He’s also been an ambassador for Crocs and Hefty Trash Bags, among other brands.

Real Estate

In January 2005, John Cena paid $525,000 for a 1.77-acre property in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. He has significantly renovated the home since then, and to the best of our knowledge, it currently features 10,692 square feet of living space. Estimates of the property’s value vary widely, considering that it’s been off the market for over two decades.

Cena also owns a 10,021-square-foot mansion in San Diego, California. He originally purchased the eight-bedroom, 7.5-bathroom home in June 2003 for $3.8 million. As with the Florida home, it’s believed that Cena still owns this property, which is currently valued at roughly $5.15 million.

Mirren is now six decades into her acting career, having become one of Britain’s most recognizable actresses, and starring in more than 150 productions. She’s best known for roles in the 2000s and 2010s, including The Queen, RED, Gosford Park, and Hitchcock. To date, her films have grossed over $7.7 billion in global box office revenue.

In this profile, we’ll discuss our extensive research into Helen Mirren’s net worth, income sources, known salaries, and biggest box office hits.

Quick Facts

  • Reportedly earned $1 million per episode for starring in 1923
  • Grossed $7.7+ billion in worldwide box office revenues
  • Secured endorsement deals with L’Oréal Paris, Elvive, and True Match
  • Selling her 10,199-square-foot Los Angeles mansion for $17 million

1923 Salary

According to Variety, Helen Mirren and co-star Harrison Ford were each paid $1 million per episode for starring in Paramount+’s 1923. The first season aired in 2022 and comprised eight episodes, theoretically earning Mirren $8 million. Season two was actually released three years later, in February 2025, and comprised just seven episodes.

Mirren starred as Cara Dutton in all 15 episodes. Assuming the same rate for each, she could have potentially earned $15 million in total from the show.

Highest-Grossing Movies

Mirren had numerous box-office hits in the early years of her career; however, most were overshadowed by more recent hits, including her role as Queenie in the Fast & Furious franchise. The Fate of the Furious, which saw her brief introduction into the series, grossed $1.24 billion at the global box office. Shen then reprised her role in the spinoff Hobbs & Shaw ($761 million), as well as F9: The Fast Saga ($726 million) and Fast X ($705 million). Of the F&F movies she’s appeared in, they’ve grossed $3.43 billion globally.

However, the highest-grossing movie of her career was 2023’s Barbie, which smashed the box office, grossing $1.45 billion worldwide. Seven of her ten top-grossing films had production budgets in the nine figures. The remaining films on the list include National Treasure: Book of Secrets ($459 million), The Prince of Egypt ($219 million), RED ($199 million), and The Nutcracker and the Four Realms ($174 million).

Here’s a complete list of Helen Mirren’s ten highest-grossing movies:

  1. Barbie – $1.45 Billion (2023)
  2. The Fate of the Furious – $1.24 Billion (2017)
  3. Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw – $761 Million (2019)

  6. Fast X – $705 Million (2023)
  7. National Treasure: Book of Secrets – $459 Million (2007)
  8. The Prince of Egypt – $219 Million (1998)
  9. RED – $199 Million (2010)
  10. The Nutcracker and the Four Realms – $174 Million (2018)

Endorsement Deals

Outside of her acting career, Mirren has earned additional millions through several lucrative endorsement deals and brand campaigns. The most notable of which is her role as a global ambassador for the skincare and beauty company L’Oréal Paris. She began working with the brand in 2014, promoting their Age Perfect product range, and later appeared in additional campaigns for product lines such as the Elvive hair products and True Match foundation.

Mirren’s earnings from L’Oreal have never been publicly disclosed; however, one similar agreement we can look at is Penelope Cruz, who was earning $2 million per year with the brand. Although the L’Oreal partnership has likely been the biggest earner for Helen, she’s also partnered with other brands during her career, including:

  • Absolute Vodka
  • British Airways
  • Nintendo Wii Fit
  • Sky Broadband

Real Estate

Helen Mirren and her husband, Taylor Hackford, have owned a 10,199-square-foot, eight-bedroom property in Los Angeles, California, for over three decades. For the last fourteen years or so, the property has been on and off the market, both for sale and for rent.

It appears to have been rented for $33,667/month in May 2015 and removed from the market until July 2021, when it was listed for sale at $18.5 million. Since then, no sale has occurred, although the price has dropped to $17 million. It’s also available for rent at $30,000/month.

Introduction

Roger Federer is a Swiss former professional tennis player and investor with an estimated net worth of $900 Million.

We have examined various revenue streams based on Roger Federer’s professional tennis career earnings, his line of branded sporting goods, endorsement deals with well-paying brands like Mercedes-Benz, Rolex, and Credit Suisse, the Japanese apparel brand Uniqlo, and a whole host of other off-court sponsorships and endorsements. Mercedes-Benz recently re-signed Federer in a new record brand ambassador deal.

Not to mention the enormous prize payouts from winning the Wimbledon tournament and other major titles. With an average winner’s payout of nearly $2.5 million per tournament and 20 Grand Slam titles in the bag, his prize money from Grand Slams alone is somewhere in the region of $50 million.

In this profile, we’ll discuss our research into Roger Federer’s net worth, career earnings, and other aspects of his finances.

Quick Facts

  • Debuted on the Forbes Billionaires Index in 2025
  • Earned $130.6 million in prize money and bonuses during his career
  • Peak annual winnings of $13 million in 2017
  • Holds a 2.5% stake in the Swiss shoe company On Holding
  • This stake is currently valued at roughly $233 million
  • Signed a 10-year, $300 million endorsement deal with Uniqlo (2018)
  • Earned approximately $150 million from his 24-year relationship with Nike

Net Worth History

When we first began tracking Roger Federer’s finances in 2017, he had an estimated net worth of $400 million. Towards the end of the decade, that number reached $450 million, and in the beginning of the 2020s, estimates of his fortune increased to $550 million.

You’re probably wondering how his net worth almost doubled in just a few years, leading to his debut on the Forbes Billionaires Index in 2025. Federer began working with the Swiss shoe company ON in 2019 and later acquired a 2.5% stake in the company. The company’s market valuation skyrocketed from $5 billion in 2022 to an all-time high of $19.45 billion in January 2025, valuing Federer’s equity at roughly $486 million. Hence the reason for his billionaire status.

Federer’s net worth peaked at an estimated $1.1 billion, but ON’s share price has fallen dramatically this year, effectively wiping out half of the company’s market cap. At the time of writing, Federer’s stake in the business is currently valued at $233 million.

As a result, he’s fallen off the Billionaires Index, and we’re currently estimating his net worth at approximately $900 Million.

Roger Federer played professional tennis for twenty-five years. While his peak annual winnings never exceeded those of Novak Djokovic or Rafael Nadal, he earned significant prize money during that time.

In 1997, Federer earned just $1,300 in prize money. The following year, his winnings increased to $27,300, and again in 1999 to $225,600. By 2002, Federer was earning almost $2 million/year in prize money and bonuses. That year, the most significant contributors to his annual earnings were $450,000 for his semi-final finish at the Tennis Masters Cup and $372,000 for winning the ATP Masters 1000 event in Hamburg.

From 2003 to 2019, Federer consistently earned between $4 million and $9 million annually from prize money and bonuses. Two of these years, in particular, earned him more than the rest. In 2007, Federer earned $10.1 million, mainly because he won three of the four major Grand Slam tournaments. His biggest payouts of the year were as follows:

  • US Open (Win) – $2.4 million
  • Wimbledon (Win) – $1.4 million
  • ATP Tennis Masters Cup (Win) – $1.2 million
  • Australian Open (Win) – $1 million

What was Roger Federer’s highest-earning year?

In 2017, Federer earned $13 million on the court, the highest annual earnings of his career. As in 2007, his Wimbledon and Australian Open titles were the most significant contributors to his 2017 prize money, earning him $2.84 million and $2.85 million, respectively.

According to our research, Roger Federer earned $117.4 million in career prize money, plus $13.2 million in bonuses, for a total of $130.6 million.

ON Holding Investment

Roger Federer has racked up hundreds of millions of dollars from brand endorsement deals over the years, but his most lucrative partnership wasn’t a typical endorsement.

In 2019, the former tennis pro became an investor in ON Holding, or On, the Swiss shoe and apparel company. The brand’s primary focus is the running market, but they’ve also expanded into hiking and tennis. In fact, their tennis range was designed exclusively around Federer, as every single model has been released under the “THE ROGER” branding.

On.com currently houses 30 SKUs of The Roger line, including models such as:

  • The Roger Wildcard
  • The Roger Pro Ace
  • The Roger Clubhouse Ace
  • The Roger Advantage
  • The Roger Pro LDN
  • The Roger Pro 3

According to reports, Federer holds a 2.5% equity stake in ON Holding, which, as we discussed in the intro, is the primary reason for his net worth fluctuations and his brief status as a billionaire this decade.

There are a couple of things worth mentioning here: When Forbes covered ONON’s market drop in August 2026, they said the following:

“Federer owns a roughly 2.5% stake in the Swiss athletic shoe company, Forbes estimates, with roughly 296 million class A shares and 341 million class B shares—which first drove his wealth to billionaire status last year.”

This is somewhat inaccurate, as those aren’t his total shares; they’re the company’s total issued shares. Federer likely holds just under 16 million ONON shares.

How much is his stake in ON Holdings worth?

ON Holding launched its IPO in September 2021, and over the next couple of months, its market cap reached a temporary peak of $13.9 billion, before falling to just $5 billion in 2022. However, since then, the company’s annual revenues and net profits have grown consistently, with current revenues nearly tripling those of 2022 (CHF 1.22 billion to CHF 3.22 billion). Net profits have also grown from CHF 57.7 million to CHF 396 million during the same period.

Naturally, investors were excited by the growth, and the company’s share price soared. ON’s market cap nearly reached $20 billion in January 2025, meaning Federer’s 2.5% stake was worth roughly $486 million. This placed his net worth over $1 billion, allowing him to debut on the Forbes Billionaires Index.

However, in the last year or so, investors haven’t been entirely satisfied. On Holdings has missed revenue expectations, and growth has slowed from 17% per year to 13% per year in the American market. As a result, ONON’s market cap is currently sitting at a two-and-a-half-year low of $9.35 billion, effectively halving the value of Federer’s stake to between $230 million and $240 million.

Uniqlo Endorsement Deal

Federer was already nearing the end of his career when he secured an impressive deal with Uniqlo. In July 2018, then 36 years old, Federer ended his longtime partnership with Nike and signed a 10-year, $300 million contract with the clothing brand Uniqlo. At $30 million per year, that’s an extraordinary sum for a single company to pay an athlete. However, Federer isn’t the only one who took home huge paychecks from the brand. They’ve also signed astonishing agreements with Novak Djokovic and Kei Nishikori, among others.

What’s more, the contract’s value was fully guaranteed. In other words, it didn’t matter if Federer retired at any point during the contract’s lifespan. He’d still receive the full $300 million.

Nike Endorsement Deal

Roger’s longest partnership was with Nike, lasting approximately 24 years between 1994 and 2018. Though, unbelievably, his earnings from the relationship totaled roughly half of those from his Uniqlo deal. The details surrounding his first few contracts with the brand (1994 to 2002) aren’t very well documented. However, his annual compensation is believed to have been well under $1 million during that time.

In 2002, Federer secured a new contract with Nike, which reportedly guaranteed him $1 million per year. Many journalists were surprised by the low sum, since the athlete was well on his way to becoming the world’s number 1. He did just that two years later, in 2004.

It wasn’t until 2008, 14 years into the relationship, that Nike began paying Federer the big bucks. That year, he secured a new ten-year contract, reportedly worth $10-$13 million per year. Still, that figure may have varied depending on performance bonuses and the like.

Putting it all together, we have estimated earnings of $136 million, based on the contract above. Still, that doesn’t include his first 8 years with the company, nor any additional bonuses. Thus, most reports circulate a total figure of $150 million.
