How to Triple Your Confidence In 30 Days

Last Updated:

This article is focused on giving the information needed to help you triple your confidence is just 30 days. Every point in this article contributes to boosting your confidence levels.

Confidence is elusive.

It’s become a very hard thing for most people to become confident with themselves. And confidence doesn’t just relate to one general area. It relates to how you look, your dreams, the belief in your ability to achieve everything you’re setting out to achieve.

Why is confidence important?

Without confidence, it’s like we’re trapped in shells. We’re unable to live out many of the possibilities that life presents us with.

When you become a confident individual, it’s like you know just how much of a difference you can make in the world. You know you can achieve what you want, and everybody who tells you otherwise can get out of your way. Even if you have to force them out of the way.

Why do so many people struggle with low confidence and self-esteem?

Most confidence issues come from the fact that life is tough. Let’s be honest. The original thoughts of low confidence and self-esteem stems from the fact that life is tough, and we can’t initially just get everything we want.

We can’t automatically have the body we desire, the job we love, the material possessions we want. But, we can see others have them.

We can see other people filled with happiness and everything else we want in life. And we know just how tough it is to get it, which puts a lot of us down.

Despite the root cause, media and negativity has a big influence on the way we think about ourselves. Showing us what we “should look like”, and what we “should be doing” with our lives.

All these influences break people down into thinking they can’t do anything to become the individual they want to be.

How to Triple Your Confidence In 30 Days

I suffered with a huge lack of confidence when I was younger. It was seriously damaging, and had a dramatic affect on the way I lived out every day. Eventually, I started to figure out how to boost my confidence, and becoming so much happier with myself.

These tips are seriously helpful, and if applied, can help you to triple your confidence in just 30 days:

1. Remove mediocrity from your life one day at a time

One step at a time is the best way to remove mediocrity form your life. And when you start to remove mediocrity, you will begin to remove all the parts of your life that are causing you to have no confidence.

Begin by removing poor food from your daily diet: biscuits, soda, junk food and so on. Then take the step to start waking up earlier. Then move on to eliminating TV habits, and removing negative people from your life.

Every small piece of mediocrity in your life only adds to your confidence issues, so remove every piece one by one, until only greatness remains.

2. Start to dress smarter

The clothes we were play a big part on the amount of confidence we have. If you really want to be able to triple your confidence in 30 days, then dressing smarter is the simplest step in doing so.

All it takes is a small shopping spree. Buy yourself a couple of great suits or dresses that fit well. The fitting is the important part, otherwise it’s going to just amplify your lack of confidence.

This step is huge! Do it straight away if you can.

3. Work on developing yourself as much as possible

To be honest, this step was the one that made the majority of difference to how confident I felt on a daily basis.

The news often tells us to learn to be happy with our bodies and ourselves how we are, but half the time this doesn’t actually make sense.

If you hate your body, and you think there’s a genuine reason to hate your body, then change it. You’re not going to be happy taking the advice to learn to love yourself, because it doesn’t fix the root issue.

When I suffered with low confidence, I was a very skinny guy. I’m also incredibly tall. I hated the way I looked, and it would affect everything I did. The biggest confidence boost came from exercising and building muscle onto my skinny frame.

Everything changed. The way I walked. My T-shirts were tighter around my arms and shoulders. I became happier with who I was.

Actually let me put this a different way: I felt like I was becoming myself, and was able to amplify what was already there.

4. Improve your posture

The way you carry yourself has a drastic affect on the way you feel.

If you walk through the world with your head up high and your shoulders back, the feeling of purpose and confidence gradually starts to sink in.

You’re the boss of your own life. Walk with a purpose.

A slouched posture eventually starts to put you in the corresponding mindset. You walk slouched, you feel slouched. You walk with your head up, you feel like you’re up.

5. Smile more

Did you know scientists just figured out which came first out of the chicken and the egg?

Well, smiling and happiness needs to be looked at like the chicken and egg conundrum. Most of us believe that we need to be happy at the present time to smile. Although, studies show that when we smile more, we it puts us in a better mood and we become happier.

Start smiling more, and your levels of happiness and confidence will start to grow.

Spoiler alert: the chicken came first.

6. Jump into things and get out of your comfort zone

When you do something crazy and new, you instantly become more confident, by doing something you never thought you would do.

Never overthink these situations. Just jump into them. You will learn from them afterwards. Just make the leap and do things outside of your comfort zone. The results will seriously surprise you after 30 days when you’ve gone out and had all these new experiences.

7. Focus on the positive

Once you start to focus on the positives, you see yourself in a different light.

Sometimes in life we end up focusing so much on the negative side to everything, that we forget to be grateful for everything we have to be positive about.

Which brings me to my next point on the list of ways to triple your confidence…

8. Learn to be grateful

When we learn be grateful for everything that we have on a regular basis, we instantly become a lot more positive about our current situations.

If you learn to practice gratitude several times per day, your self-esteem and happiness will begin to rise.

Just take a minute several times a day, to sit and be grateful for something. Take it all in.

9. Force yourself into more social interactions

Forcing yourself to become more social is a great way to build your confidence because interacting with people is one of the toughest tasks for large number of individuals.

However, if you can interact with strangers on a daily basis, about anything, you will soon lose any issues you have with being confident around other people.

Unfortunately, this is one of those situations where you have to literally force yourself into it, and think about it later.

10. Get a haircut

I had to add this one onto the list, no matter how small it may be. Do you realize how much difference a new haircut can make to the way you feel about yourself?

The difference is huge, depending on how in need of the haircut you were. For any guys that have let their hair get too long and out of control, a clean cut can make an amazing difference.

There was a guy in my high school who was always known for being shy. He had incredibly long and overgrown hair. One day he got it cut really short and posted a picture on Facebook. That picture got the most likes I’d ever seen one of my Facebook friends get.

This guy looked like a completely different person, and you could tell he felt more confident.

  2. Hi Dan, great article.

Every morning when I wake up and get into the bathroom, I will look in the mirror, smile and tell myself that today is going to be a great day and great things are waiting for me. And I will feel good after that.

You are certainly right to say that smile will boost our confidence level. I have tried it each morning and it works. 🙂

    Thanks for sharing.

  3. This is amazing! Especially in my case when my family and I were facing financial problems, the first thing that motivated me, believe it or not, was when I wore formal clothes to my first job interview. Just wearing that formal dressing gave me the feels of success…It was an amazing first time feeling! See what I mean?
