After this, Tyrese spent the following four or five years focusing mostly on his acting career, taking a break from music.
The year 2006 brought the world his very first double album titled ‘Alter Ego’.
In 2007, Tyrese formed a music group with Tank and Ginuwine called ‘TGT’ but the group didn’t start releasing music until 2013.

Roman’s character became loved by many, sparking a relationship with the franchise that would see Tyrese star in 7 more Fast & Furious films spanning two decades.

While not as active a role as Fast & Furious, Tyrese has starred in three of the Transformers movies, with the franchise films bringing in over $5 billion worldwide thus far.

Some of his more recent work has included ‘Black & Blue’, ‘Rogue Hostage’, and ‘The System’.

The house is 25,000 square feet, has 7 bedrooms, and 9 and a half bathrooms.
One of the most impressive things about the house is that despite looking like a 3-story house from the outside, it consists of 6-stories.
In the video above, courtesy of Architectural Digest, we don’t get to see the whole of Tyrese’s house. However, we can see a few key areas:
- Cigar room
- Recording studio
- Cinema room
- Basement gym
- Billiard/Poker tables

The listing price was initially set at $3.5 million but eventually sold for $2.4 million in March 2022.

“I am always nervous about doing voice-over work. I’m always clammy and I worry, “What if my voice squeaks? What if I don’t deliver it right?” Until you start saying the lines, it’s always nerve-wracking, for some reason, and I’ve never gotten over that.” – Christopher Mintz-Plasse

“The point about manic depression or bipolar disorder, as it’s now more commonly called, is that it’s about mood swings. So, you have an elevated mood. When people think of manic depression, they only hear the word depression. They think one’s a depressive. The point is, one’s a manic-depressive.” – Stephen Fry
“It’s rather splendid to think of all those great men and women who appear to have presented symptoms that allow us to describe them as bipolar. Whether it’s Hemingway, Van Gogh… Robert Schumann has been mentioned… Virginia Woolf, Sylvia Plath… some of them with rather grim ends.” – Stephen Fry
“I’ve never had any illusions about being a lead actor in films because lead actors have to be of a certain kind. Apart from the beauty of looks and figure, which I cannot claim to have, there’s just a particular kind of ordinary-Joe quality that a film star needs to have.” – Stephen Fry
“It is exhausting knowing that most of the time the phone rings, most of the time there’s an email, most of the time there’s a letter, someone wants something of you.” – Stephen Fry
“I have pushed the boat out as far as I should in terms of taking on too many things. I’m getting older and I just could not take it anymore. I am now monitoring myself very closely and I’m just trying not to get into that sort of state again.” – Stephen Fry
“It’s not all bad. Heightened self-consciousness, apartness, an inability to join in, physical shame and self-loathing—they are not all bad. Those devils have been my angels.
