After that, he appeared in Good and Movie 43 before guest-starring in the series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Scott began gravitating towards more serious roles in 2014 and starred in the comedy-drama Just Before I Go.

Soon after, he reprised his role as Crash in Ice Age: Collision Course and Doug in Goon: Last of the Enforcers.

In 2018, Scott was cast as the lead in the horror film Bloodline, and critics praised his versatile performance.

That same year, he was cast as the lead in Fox’s series Lethal Weapon, replacing Clayne Crawford, who’d been fired for bad behavior.

While his performance was again praised, the series was canceled after three seasons, and Scott moved on.

In 2019, he starred in Already Gone, which Keanu Reeves executive produced, and in 2022, was cast in the series Welcome to Flatch.

Most recently, Seann William Scott starred in the film The Wrath of Becky, which he executive produced.

He is set to star in Grand Death Lotto and Bad Men, with both films currently in post-production.
