Introduction
As of March 2024, Pamela Anderson’s net worth is roughly $20 Million.
Pamela Denise Anderson is a Canadian-American actress and model from Ladysmith, British Columbia. Anderson is best known for her appearances in Playboy magazine and for her work on the television series ‘Home Improvement’, ‘Baywatch’ and ‘V.I.P.’ The peak of her career was definitely the ‘Baywatch’ days when she was making about $300,000 per episode of the long-running series, which made it to the 11-season mark.
She also developed a reputation as the most successful Playboy cover girl, and rose to stardom as an international sex symbol of the 1990s, also thanks to her roles in ‘Baywatch’ and ‘Raw Justice.’ While appearing in ‘Baywatch’ is universally recognized as Anderson’s lucky break, she only got to that point in her life by working full-time while also seeking out modeling and acting opportunities. Her work ethic and drive are equally responsible for Anderson’s professional career and the success she achieved.
Early Life
Pamela Denise Anderson was born on the 1st of July, 1967, in Ladysmith, British Columbia. Anderson is the daughter of Barry, a furnace repairman, and Carol Anderson, a waitress.
Anderson got some press coverage right after her birth as a “Centennial Baby”, having been born on July 1, 1967, the 100th anniversary of Canada’s official founding via the Constitution Act, 1867.
Anderson was always athletically inclined; she played volleyball in high school and worked as a fitness instructor for a couple of years after graduation. At the same time, she was constantly on the lookout for modeling gigs and finally struck gold in the form of a contract with Labatt Beer, one of Canada’s best-selling beer brands. According to some, it was Pamela’s modeling career that enabled her to swiftly enter the world of Hollywood and star in big-budget productions.
Career
Anderson was first spotted wearing a tight-fitting Labatt’s Beer T-shirt during a football match, and her image was shown on the stadium’s huge video screen, which created publicity for the brand. She received an offer to model for the brewery’s commercials which she accepted.
She moved to Los Angeles to pursue her modeling career, and in 1989, she got a chance to appear as the cover girl in Playboy magazine’s October issue. Anderson was subsequently chosen as the Playmate of the Month in their February 1990 issue.
Anderson got her first major role in a television series in 1992 when she was chosen to play the role of C. J. Parker on ‘Baywatch,’ a drama series dealing with the lives of lifeguards who patrol the beaches of Los Angeles County, California. She was with ‘Baywatch’ till 1998. It was ‘Baywatch’ that put Anderson on the map, and she became receiving much more attention from Hollywood producers and advertisers after the show turned out to be a massive hit for NBC.
She landed her first film role in 1994 when she got a chance to star as Sarah in ‘Raw Justice.’ The steamy sex scenes in the movie ensured that she got enough attention for her role. She went on to land roles in erotically-charged action flicks in the 90s, most notably ‘Barb Wire’ and ‘Naked Souls.’ In the early 2000s, Anderson appeared in ‘Scary Movie 3,’ a wildly popular comedy film, part of a larger series of horror parodies. The genre seemed to suit the ‘Baywatch’ actress, as in 2008, she took on a role in ‘Superhero Movie,’ this time mocking some of the most popular tropes in modern comic book-inspired cinema.
In 2008 she starred in ‘Pam: Girl on the Loose,’ a documentary series based on her life as an actress, model, activist, and sex symbol. The show received mostly negative reviews from critics. It was intended to be an unfiltered tell-all, chronicling Anderson’s ups and downs throughout the years, but the reality/documentary show fell short of expectations. People were particularly suspicious of the promised authenticity of the series, with one critic going as far as writing that the show is “about as uncensored as Pravda during the height of the Cold War.” (via Hollywood Reporter)
As of March 2024, Pamela Anderson’s net worth is $20 Million.
Pamela Anderson Controversies
Back in the 1990s, Anderson was the wife of Tommy Lee of Motley Crue fame. The couple’s honeymoon sex tape was leaked to the world when a safe containing the recording was stolen from the pair’s residence. The video has made waves all throughout the world and damaged Anderson’s reputation for much of her career.
Unfortunately, the sex tape was not the only problem Anderson struggled with during her marriage with Lee. The drummer was arrested for assaulting Anderson multiple times prior to their divorce in 1998.
In 2020, Anderson got married to a Hollywood producer Jon Peters. Unfortunately, their marriage was short-lived, and the couple broke up just a few months after they exchanged their vows. During the heavily publicized divorce proceedings, it was revealed that Pamela ran into quite a bit of money troubles due to tax evasion. According to some reports, at one point, she owed the IRS about $1,700,000 in taxes.
How Does Pamela Anderson Spend Her Money?
Despite her net worth suffering quite a bit of damage due to the unsettled status of her taxes and a number of tumultuous, expensive divorces, Anderson is still worth about $20,000,000 and surely doesn’t suffer from a shortage of ways to spend her hard-earned cash.
She is a known real estate investor. Perhaps her most famous property is the residence in Malibu, which she bought for $1,800,000 in 2000 and sold for $11,800,000 in 2021, making $10,000,000 in the process. She also owned and sold a six-acre waterfront home on Vancouver Island, further proving her house-flipping skills and acumen for the real estate business.
Anderson is also a known activist and animal rights supporter. She regularly donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to various charities, most notably PETA, as the actress has been involved with the organization since the late 90s, even serving on its board of directors.

“As you may know, KFC is under worldwide pressure to eliminate its cruelest abuses of chickens, such as cutting the beaks off baby birds; breeding chickens to grow so large, so quickly that many suffer crippling injuries; and slitting the birds’ throats or dropping them into tanks of scalding-hot water while they are still alive and able to feel pain.” – Pamela Anderson
“What KFC does to 750 million chickens each year is not civilized or acceptable, and you can help change that. Cruelty is cruelty, and KFC is being cruel in the extreme. I am calling for a boycott of all KFC restaurants until my friends at PETA tell me that you have agreed to be kinder in your practices.” – Pamela Anderson

Favorite Quotes from Stephen Fry
“The point about manic depression or bipolar disorder, as it’s now more commonly called, is that it’s about mood swings. So, you have an elevated mood. When people think of manic depression, they only hear the word depression. They think one’s a depressive. The point is, one’s a manic-depressive.” – Stephen Fry
“It’s rather splendid to think of all those great men and women who appear to have presented symptoms that allow us to describe them as bipolar. Whether it’s Hemingway, Van Gogh… Robert Schumann has been mentioned… Virginia Woolf, Sylvia Plath… some of them with rather grim ends.” – Stephen Fry
“I’ve never had any illusions about being a lead actor in films because lead actors have to be of a certain kind. Apart from the beauty of looks and figure, which I cannot claim to have, there’s just a particular kind of ordinary-Joe quality that a film star needs to have.” – Stephen Fry
“It is exhausting knowing that most of the time the phone rings, most of the time there’s an email, most of the time there’s a letter, someone wants something of you.” – Stephen Fry
“I have pushed the boat out as far as I should in terms of taking on too many things. I’m getting older and I just could not take it anymore. I am now monitoring myself very closely and I’m just trying not to get into that sort of state again.” – Stephen Fry
“It’s not all bad. Heightened self-consciousness, apartness, an inability to join in, physical shame and self-loathing—they are not all bad. Those devils have been my angels. Without them, I would never have disappeared into language, literature, the mind, laughter and all the mad intensities that made and unmade me.” – Stephen Fry
