We were curious to find out who the world’s richest soccer teams are, so we did some digging and put together a list of the 20 richest soccer teams in the world, based on last year’s reported annual revenue. Numbers don’t lie!
So, if you’re a massive soccer fan, then the chances are your teams listed below, as we’ve included everyone from West Ham United to Barcelona. And, for all you British people out there, the majority of the list is dominated by English Premier League teams!

20. West Ham United
Revenue: $224.5 Million
West Ham United is an English professional soccer team from Stratford, East London.
They were established in June 1985, as Thames Ironworks, and changed their name to West Ham United in July 1900.
The club plays all their home games at the London Stadium and competes in the English Premier League, which is the best league in English soccer.
West Ham United is owned by David Sullivan, David Gold, Albert Smith, and a few other investors and is managed by David Moyes.
The “Hammers’, as they’re often called, have won the FA Cup three times, reached two major European finals, and won the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1965.
West Ham is one of eight clubs in English soccer never to have fallen below the second tier of English soccer. They achieved third place in the First Division in 1985-86: their highest league position to date.
19. Newcastle United
Revenue: $228.6 Million
Newcastle United is the nineteenth richest soccer team in the world.
They were founded in 1892 and are based in Newcastle Upon Tyne & Wear. Their home games are played at St James’ Park.
They compete in the English Premier League and have managed to stay in it for all but three years of the Premier league’s history, with an impressive 87 seasons in the top flight.
The club is owned by British billionaire Mike Ashley, with Lee Chanley taking the helm as Managing Director and Steve Bruce managing the team.
The “Magpies” have an impressive record, which includes four league titles, six FA Cups, a Charity Shield, the 1969 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, and the 2006 UEFA Intertoto Cup.
The club also holds the record for the ninth highest amount of trophies won by an English team.
18. A.C. Milan
Revenue: $235.6 Million
Next up is the Italian professional soccer club, A.C. Milan.
The club was founded in 1899 and is owned by Elliot Advisors (UK) Ltd, chaired by Paolo Scaroni, and managed by Stefano Pioli.
They have been competing in the top flight league in Italian soccer, Serie A, since 1929-30, and play all their home games at San Siro Stadium, also known as the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The club has won eighteen FIFA and UEFA trophies, which is the fourth-highest amount out of any soccer club in the world, and the most in Italian soccer.
A.C. Milan is one of the wealthiest teams in professional world soccer.
17. Everton F.C.
Revenue: $241.4 Million
Everton F.C. is the seventeenth richest soccer team in the world, with almost $242 million in revenue in 2019.
The professional soccer club is based in Liverpool and competes in the English Premier League. They have managed to compete in the top tier league for an impressive 116 seasons, and have only ever missed the top division four times.
Everton F.C. is owned by British-Iranianian businessman Farhad Moshiri, chaired by Bill Kenwright and managed by Carlo Ancelotti.
Their record includes nine League Championships, five FA Cups, and one UEFA Cup Winners Cup.
And, they finished 8th in the 2018-19 premier league.

FC Schalke is a professional German soccer team from the Schalke district of Gelsenkirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia.
The club was founded in 1904 and plays all its home games at Veltins-Arena, Gelsenkirchen.
They compete in the top tier of German soccer, the Bundesliga, and are the second-largest sports club in Germany.
F.C. Schalke has won seven German championships, five DFB-Pokals, one DFL-Supercup, and one UEFA Cup since its inception.

Associazione Sportiva Roma, or A.S. Roma for short, is a professional Italian soccer team based in Rome, Italy.
The club was founded in 1927 and play all their home games at Stadio Olimpico. They have competed in the top tier of Italian soccer from their inception.
The club is owned by NEEP Roma Holding S.p.A, with James Pallotta as an acting President and Paulo Fonseca as head coach.
To date, A.S. Roma has won Serie A three times, gained nine Coppa Italia titles, and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. On top of that, they’ve also won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup and were runners-up in the 1983-84 European Cup and 1990-91 UEFA Cup.

The club is owned by Suning Holdings Group, chaired by Steven Zhang, and coached by Antonio Conte.
