We were curious to find out who the world’s richest soccer teams are, so we did some digging and put together a list of the 20 richest soccer teams in the world, based on last year’s reported annual revenue. Numbers don’t lie! 

So, if you’re a massive soccer fan, then the chances are your teams listed below, as we’ve included everyone from West Ham United to Barcelona. And, for all you British people out there, the majority of the list is dominated by English Premier League teams!

20. West Ham United

West Ham United is an English professional soccer team from Stratford, East London. 

They were established in June 1985, as Thames Ironworks, and changed their name to West Ham United in July 1900. 

The club plays all their home games at the London Stadium and competes in the English Premier League, which is the best league in English soccer. 

West Ham United is owned by David Sullivan, David Gold, Albert Smith, and a few other investors and is managed by David Moyes.

The “Hammers’, as they’re often called, have won the FA Cup three times, reached two major European finals, and won the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1965. 

West Ham is one of eight clubs in English soccer never to have fallen below the second tier of English soccer. They achieved third place in the First Division in 1985-86: their highest league position to date.

Everton F.C. is owned by British-Iranianian businessman Farhad Moshiri, chaired by Bill Kenwright and managed by Carlo Ancelotti. 

Their record includes nine League Championships, five FA Cups, and one UEFA Cup Winners Cup.

And, they finished 8th in the 2018-19 premier league.
